Favorite Moment: Regina absorbing the magic from the portal to protect Snow/Emma from dying. It showed real character development on her from previous episodes, and made me love her even more.
Least Favorite: Nobody. Invited. Regina. Or even thought about it: They just all go skipping down Main Street being so happy while leaving her behind.
[adrotate group="5"]December 3, 2012 at 2:44 am #163320snowfallsParticipantIt was an ok episode. I’m glad Emma and Snow are back and it was cool seeing Snow use the ink to free everyone from Rumpel’s cell. But like The Fairest stated, Regina is…not as enjoyable as she was last season. I love that she’s trying to change for Henry in Storybrooke, but now the writers are ruining her delicious Evil Queen persona. Thank God she’s going to be evil again next week.
December 3, 2012 at 2:52 am #163321thedarkoneParticipantMy favorite moments were…
-Cora trying to kill Emma. I loved that Emma had enough magic to protect herself.
-The big reveal of Cora being the Queen of Hearts. It was expected, but still pretty awesome.
-Snow using the ink to bust out of the cell.
-Belle and Hook’s scene in the prison. P.S. Belle’s legs were smoking hot in that scene.
-Mr. Gold telling Emma that she as powerful enough to do everything herself.
I don’t really have any least favorite moments. Great episode all around! 😀
December 3, 2012 at 2:55 am #163322a_desperate_soulParticipantGood lord this was a great episode!
Favorite Moments: Cora realizing that she couldn’t kill Emma (AWESOME). Snow using the squid ink to free her and Emma from Rumpel’s cell. Belle’s scene with Hook at the beginning of the episode. Poor Belle. And Emma’s scene with Mr. Gold at the end of the episode. I love that she’s realizing that she’s powerful too. I also really loved the scenes between Hook, Regina and Cora. I loved the little chess game they were playing with each other.
Another favorite moment of mine was the promo. WHOA. It looks like our villains are back. 😯
December 3, 2012 at 2:55 am #163323elleParticipantDespite how crammed it is, I think this is one of the strongest episodes this season so far. First off, glad both Snow White and Emma are back in Storybrooke. 🙂 I’m am gonna miss Princess Aurora and Mulan–hope we will see them again. It is great how they are both going off to find Philip together.
Loved how Snow White kissed him awake and how she was able to use the magic. Her fight with Cora was awesome and well done, too.
Loved Emma in this episode. 😀 We see more of her insecurities–she knows she is the savior, and yet she feels helpless and does not know how to embrace her role. Her fight with Captain Hook was awesome–the fight secnes between the two of them were awesome, and I loved how she knocked him out. 😀
Rumpelstiltskin still annoys me–I know he is popular, but not only do I think he is overrated, I think he is a jerk. I already found it silly when Belle said that it would take a while for people to warm up to him when he is a murderer and a manipulator. But his little lines to Regina were a bit harsh.
Also, I think the whole built of of sympathy for Regina is ridiculous. She has killed and tortured and imprisoned people and yet we are meant to feel for her. I know she helped Snow White and Emma and that is great, but that won’t make her friends with everyone in town right away. Henry already showed her how he is starting to trust and believe in her by staying with her more and with the hug he gave her. And yet he and everyone are horrible when they do not invite her to dinner.
December 3, 2012 at 3:01 am #163327a chipped cupParticipantWhere do I even start? Ok, I’ll just make a list! 😀
-Emma defeated Cora. Ok, let me repeat myself. EMMA DEFEATED CORA!
-I loved the scene between Hook and Belle. Belle looked lovely as usual. But I hated the way he treated her. He better be glad he’s pretty. 😆
-Um…I had no freaking idea that Snow knew magic. GO SNOW!
-I also loved that Regina enchanted Hook’s hook (tee hee) so that he could rip out hearts. That was an interesting twist.
-And I really liked the scene between Emma and Mr. Gold towards the end. I’m glad she’s realizing that she has some power too. And I also found it interesting that she wasn’t angry or afraid of Mr. Gold. I guess the writers are setting up a possible alliance between the two of them. Judging by the promo, it looks like Mr. Gold is going to ask Emma help him look for Baelfire.
-Charming family reunion! YAY!
December 3, 2012 at 3:22 am #163335magickingdomParticipantSo much awesome in this episode! I can’t even think straight. I’ll be back with a full review tomorrow, but for now, here’s just a few things that I loved.
-Hook kicking the crap out of Regina’s gaurds.
-Belle. I just love her. 😀
-Cora. Best villain on the show right now.
-Emma’s magic protecting her and Snow. I knew that was going to happen I KNEW IT!
-Snow using her skills in dark magic to bust out of Rumpel’s cell. Who would have ever guessed? 😆
-Mr. Gold telling Emma that she’s powerful all by herself. I hope that’s foreshadowing for the future. It would be cool to see her throwing down with some magic next to Rumpel and Regina.
-Regina’s redemption arc is a little too much and a little too early, but I did like her scenes with Henry. I just hope the writers slow it down in the future.
-And the promo…WHOA. 😯 Did I just see Rumpel knock the crap out of Hook? God, I love villains. 😆December 3, 2012 at 3:34 am #163344hannah97ParticipantFavorite Moments- When Henry hugged Regina, when Emma figured out she had magic, and basically the entire last half of the show.
Least Favorite Moments- Henry being a jerk to Regina, Gold being a jerk to Regina, and the end. Why must we wait so long? *sniffle*
December 3, 2012 at 3:36 am #163346cherishParticipantOk, I just rewatched the episode and I’ve got a few more favorite moments. 🙂
-Snow blowing on Rumpel’s letter and breaking out of the prison. I did not see that coming. And I love seeing the heroes work a little dark magic. 😈
-I’m glad Mr. Gold told Emma that she was powerful too. So very often, the heroes are left at the mercy of the magically inclined villains, so it was nice to hear Mr. Gold remind Emma of her own power as well.
-Hook trying to rip out Cora’s heart. Good lord that was hilarious. 😆
I’ll be back with more tomorrow. 😀
December 3, 2012 at 3:37 am #163348marilouParticipantfavorite moment – Regina hearth to hearth with her mother’s corpse
