But it does contradict to what ‘the good’ does. The good ‘forgives’. Regina has truly proven she’s honestly trying to redeem herself, she risked everything by taking the spell of the portal and that means a lot for a development of a character who’s been acting so selfishly throughout her entire life. There is zero encouragement or gratitude from Snow or Emma and even Henry seems like he doesn’t really care. Then there are those stabbing words from Rumple. That way Regina could be emotionally turned back to the time when she cast the curse in the first place – because people don’t really give her a chance. I’m not saying they should’ve invited her for a dinner (she would probably turn it down anyway) – but it just seemed that everyone simply ignored the fact that she saved their lives – everyone always notices the bad that she does but they don’t really care when she finally does something good – I mean, can’t they seriously notice a big change coming for her and that it’s rather important and that it would be better for everyone to keep her on their side?
Emma did thank Regina. Immediately after she popped out of the well. But do I expect the Charmings to just forget about everything she did? No. I’m glad they were grateful for what she did, but being in the same room with the person who almost wiped out your entire family is probably a little much for them right now.

If Regina had been acting like her old self, Henry would have fond a way to stop her secretly stop hr with a plot. π Instead he confronted her, talked with her, and told her to believe in him as he believes in her. And he ends up hugging her–he has never came and hugged her with a sweet smile.
But Regina still did try to kill the people that he loves. She killed Graham. She tried to make everyone believe that he was crazy. Snow White suffered a lot because of Regina, as did Prince Charming and Emma.
December 3, 2012 at 4:33 am #163390Daniel J. LewisKeymasterI thought Henry was really sweet to Regina. He hugged her and said that she changed. I donβt see what Regina fans are complaing about. Of course the Charmings aren’t going to invite her over for dinner. No matter what Regina does, there’s always going to be bad blood between them.

Yes she did try to destroy everyone and their happiness to get revenge, but everyone can’t just ignore the fact that she is trying to change. Sure she was evil, but it would be nice to see them giving her a chance in the near future, otherwise she might go back to being evil again, no thanks to Rumple ): If everyone wants to play the blame game, like what Snow said herself, she was the one who told Cora about Daniel and Regina, and that’s why Daniel got his heart ripped out and Regina wanted revenge and went all psycho-evil. I’m not throwing the blame at Snow, but we can’t keep playing the blame game π

December 3, 2012 at 5:04 am #163404faux paxParticipantFavorite part: Emma knocking Hook out. That was just so BA.
Least favorite: Don’t really have one, but if i had to say, it would have to be another round of the blame game (isn’t that horse a bit dead yet) and how freaking long it took them to realize that the ink was on the paper. Emma especially doesn’t have an excuse, she’s of the Scooby Doo generation.
December 3, 2012 at 5:09 am #163406the fairestParticipantBut the gang did acknowledge that she was trying to change. They thanked her and even had a little comical banter with her (“You’re mom’s a real piece of work”). Yes, she did help them, but wouldn’t you be deathly afraid of the person who tried to kill your entire family? I would. No matter how much that person has changed, you’re never going to get over that. That’s like asking the family of someone who was murdered by a serieal killer to give the killer a second chance. Uh…NO! π

Yes but at the same time forgiveness takes time, remember Emma and Snow have no idea Regina is trying to change I mean the last time they saw Regina they weren’t on the best of terms and all they know is that Regina helped them out with the well.. Emma did thank her..and I don’t think they meant to ignore her they were just caught up in the whole we are all back together again.
I agree it’s better for them to keep Regina on their side (and they are going to need it with Cora in Storybrooke) but I think in that moment all they were thinking was We are finally back together, after 28 years of being apart then getting sent to FTL they are all finally ALL in the same place..
I’ll admit I’m not a Regina fan at all..I’ve liked her moments here and there in season 1 but I hated her for most of it..but I’m loving her arc this season and it’s making me actually like her..so yey for the writers hope they keep her on this path..

Favorite Moment: Regina absorbing the magic from the portal to protect Snow/Emma from dying. It showed real character development on her from previous episodes, and made me love her even more.
Least Favorite: Nobody. Invited. Regina. Or even thought about it: They just all go skipping down Main Street being so happy while leaving her behind.
I agree completely. It would have been really nice if someone had remembered to invite both Mr. Gold and Regina to join them for that meal at Granny’s. I know there are still trust issues to work out, and that Regina did many things that are difficult to get past and forgive, but it would have been great to see them forming a united front in the face of Cora’s and Hook’s arrival in Storybrooke.
