Cora trying to take Emma’s heart, (sorry, while that is a favorite, it’s also a direct ripoff from Avengers when Loki tried to take Tony’s heart)
You know what wasn’t a rip off though? Her hand getting stuck. LOL I mean seriously people! It was like Cora had her hand stuck in a garbage disposal trying to get something out and had to realize ya gotta let go to get your hand free! That was HI-LARIOUS!
[adrotate group="5"]December 3, 2012 at 8:31 am #163450schmackyParticipantThere is zero encouragement or gratitude from Snow or Emma
Really? Because I’m pretty sure Emma said “thank you” to her. To me, that seems like gratitude. But, maybe that’s just me.
December 3, 2012 at 1:18 pm #163456eternalflameParticipantI loved this episode. Such a great way to wrap up the first half of the season. It felt a little rushed, but I prefer that as oppose to the slow pace that we’ve been travelling up until now.
Favorite Scenes: Regina saving Snow and Emma. Mr. Gold and Regina teaming up again. Belle’s scene with Captain Hook. Cora failing to rip out Emma’s heart. Snow using the squid ink to break down the cell bars. Mr. Gold telling Emma how powerful she was. Captain Hook’s “women on their back” line. π And the family reunion at the end of the episode.
Least Favorite Scenes: Basically everything with Mulan and Aurora. What a watse of potential. They’re not even coming to Storybrooke. π

I’m wondering if they might hook up with Lancelot somehow. We never had confirmation that he was dead, and if Cora had him locked up somewhere, perhaps he can escape now that she’s vacated the realm. Aurora, Mulan, Phillip, and potentially Lancelot would be the only 4 people left in FTL now, wouldn’t they? Everyone else was at the safe haven, and Cora wiped them all out, right? If so, it’d be pretty harsh if they were stuck in FTL without any contact with anyone else, ever, so maybe they’ll connect them up to SB somehow in the end. Perhaps?

Favorite Moments:
-Regina changing her mind and saving Snow and Emma.
-Mr. Gold manipulating Regina. I know it’s wrong, but he’s a villain, and a darn good one at that. I just can’t hate him for some reason.
-Seeing Belle again. Any scene with her puts a smile on my face. We see so little of her, so any little glimpse we get is treasured in my mind.
-Hook. That’s all. π
-Cora as the Queen of Hearts. I’m so glad the writers didn’t drag that out until the end of the season. Thank God they revealed that early in the season.
-Henry hugging Regina and complimenting her on how much she changed. I just loved that.
-Mr. Gold reminding Emma just how awesome she really is.
-Snow blowing the squid ink onto the prison bars and breaking out of the cell. I loved seeing Snow using something other than a sword or a bow and arrow.
-Cora not being able to rip out Emma’s heart. SUCK IT CORA! π
-I also really loved seeing Mr. Gold go all Dark One when he was casting the spell on the portal. And last but not least…THAT FREAKING PROMO! Seriously, that was the best part of the entire episode for me. Regina using dark magic again, Mr. Gold beating the hell out of Hook, flashbacks between Snow and Regina, Mr. Gold telling Emma about Baelfire. This episode is going right after my heart. Ugh, RIGHT IN THE FEELS!
Least Favorite Moments:
-I agree EternalFlame. It’s difficult to enjoy Mulan and Aurora’s scenes these days. I was just beginning to warm up to Aurora and then BAM! She gets her heart ripped out. But thankfully, it was returned to her. I’m still waiting for Mulan to grow on me though. πDecember 3, 2012 at 2:03 pm #163476beauty the beastParticipantI loved this episode. Although I agree with those who say it was a bit rushed, it didn’t really hurt the episode.
My favorite moments:
My poor Regina. I’m glad that she changed her mind and decided to listen to Henry and help Snow and Emma. Although I was a little sad for Regina when the Charming clan left her alone at the end of the episode, I couldn’t fault them for doing so. They have every right to leave her out. There’s been far too much trauma between the two parties for them to just sit down have dinner together.
As manipulative as Rumpel/Gold was in this episode, I couldn’t help but love it. I agree, Midnight Dreary. Rumpel is soooooooo good when he’s bad. And I can’t help but enjoy the scenes where’s being amoral. I also loved seeing him work a little dark magic to curse the portal.
Hook’s line about women on their backs was so inappropriate, but soooooooooooo funny! I felt so guilty for laughing at it. π
Cora’s a great villain. Barbara has been killing this role sense day one, and I can’t wait to see more from her. But I am confused about Cora’s motivation. At first, I thought she wanted to kill Regina, but after watching last night’s episode, it sounds like she just wants control over her. See…I don’t really buy that. I just can’t shake the feeling that she wants to kill Regina. π―
December 3, 2012 at 2:34 pm #163481elleParticipantThe whole Charming family has been nice to her considering what she has done. Prince Charming lets her stay with Henry and watch over him. He has not once tried to rally the town against her–it wouldn’t work, though π But he has not spoken a harsh word to and of her.
Emma said thank you numerous times in the episode and was very sincere about it. She acted almost kind to Regina, understanding that Regina put in a lot of effort to help her and Snow White. And Henry was sweet to Regina, hugging her and believing in her.
Snow White didn’t do much, but in the previous episode, from the sound of it, she may be capable of forgiveness or tolerance.
And I don’t get why they have to invite Mr. Gold, either. Seeing as how he was willing to kill them off, they don’t owe him much. Both he and Emma seem to know that.
December 3, 2012 at 2:36 pm #163483cherishParticipant^But I’ll bet you a million dollars she’ll end up doing that favor for Mr. Gold in the end though. π
December 3, 2012 at 2:36 pm #163484RumplesGirlKeymasterFavorite moments:
–Lana was brilliant this episode. I actually felt really bad for her at the end, watching Henry, Emma and Co. going off to dinner without her (though I think it would have been really strange to invite her). LOVED the EQ’s outfits this episode, especially that gown.
–Learning we were right about Cora being the QoH
–WHERE IS CORA’S HEART?!
–Rumple being a little more “Rumply” this episode, though I don’t think he actually thought it would ever be Emma and Snow coming through.
–Hook had some very wicked lines this episode.
–The ending. Here’s come trouble. The war is coming to SB.Least favorite parts:
–I don’t really want to see Mulan and Aurora searching for Philip, so I hope we don’t see too much of them. I really thought Cora would kill Aurora this episode.
–Hook knocking Belle out. You will pay for that, Captain. Oh yes. You will pay."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love" -
