My favorite moment was when Emma said “No. It’s strength.” as she knocked Cora on her backside after Cora failed to take her heart!

It was a very Harry Potterish moment 🙂

    OMG! It totally was! 😆

I love the idea of Emma being OUAT’s blonder and more feminine version of Harry Potter. I know, it’s kind of geeky, but I’m a geek. So it’s second nature to me. 😆

Surely she would be invited, since she helped save Emma and MM, but no.

Would you honestly invite the person that murdered your father/grandfather to dinner? Or would you invite the person that poisoned you/your wife/your mother? Would you invite the person that attempted to poison you/your daughter? Would you invite the person that indirectly poisoned your son/grandson?

If you answered no to any of the above questions, then no they shouldn’t “surely” have invited her. If you yes to any of the above questions well then…. wow.

Yup, Regina is real bad in their eyes. That’s why they had to save her from the wraith. That’s why David let her babysit Henry. And so on.

    Yes, of course, no doubt.

That’s why they had to save her from the wraith.

Pretty sure they did that because Henry asked Emma to protect her.

That’s why David let her babysit Henry

At this point, I think they know that Regina wouldn’t harm Henry (although I don’t know if any of them know she kept him prisoner in his own room until his heart to heart with her.

    And so on.

    Curious, what’s the so on?

edit: It’s OK to admit Regina’s mistakes and faults. It’s part of her character. It’s also OK to admit the understandable motivations of other characters while still rooting for your favorite character.

The only reason why they saved her from the wraith was because of Henry. 🙂 He wanted Regina spared–he didn’t want her to die. Prince Charming was willing to let her get killed before. And Emma had made a promise to Henry.

Prince Charming allowed Regina to watch Henry was because he trusted her with Henry. He knew she would not ever intentionally hurt Henry. She proved that when she let Henry go back to Prince Charming. After she had kidnapped Henry in the first place and realized how horrible she had been to him.

And even if they get along, I doubt the Charming family (except Henry) will ever trul be 100% friendly with her. They will be civil for Henry’s sake, but they can never forgive how she had tried to kill them numerous times. And can you honestly blame them.

I’m curious to know if you think the Charmings would be just as bad as Regina, if they had allowed the angry mob or the wraith to kill her ? Or would it be understandible in your eyes ?
I’m asking this completely unjudgemental of your opinions, just so you know. I’m only curious.

Would they be just as bad as Regina if they didn’t stop the mob or the wraith? No. Because they didn’t set up the mob or the wraith. Would they be guilty of standing by while someone got hurt/killed? Yes. There’s a difference between that, though, ya know?

The Charmings have only (to our knowledge) attempt to kill Regina once and that was Snow White when she shot the arrow and Charming had stopped it. But besides that, these people have never attempted to hurt her, kill her, etc. They didn’t get the mob going, they didn’t release the wraith. Regina has killed people, directly. She has indirectly killed people (the children), she has intentionally cursed an entire realm.

So, no… the Charmings would definitely not be the same as Regina if they had stepped back and let the chips fall where they may.

Hm Okay.. well I disagree on that. I believe it is just as bad to be the bystander, if you know it is in your power too stop a bad situation from happening. So in my opinion they would have been just as bad.. But they didn’t stand by and let the chips fall, as you say, so good for them 🙂

I agree with Schmacky. And I have to add that they have been good to Regina, and she has shown no appreciation for what they have gone through for her. They didn’t have to interfere with the mob–of course they would, but they did not owe her anything. And yet they did. Henry was th one that insisted, but the particualr way of Regina and Emma standing up for Regina was kind of them. 🙂

And then when the wraith comes up, Prince Charming, Snow White, and Emma all gather to protect Regina, resulting in Emma and Snow White falling into the portal. Regina shows no sympathy or remorse for what happened to them.

Really? So you’re saying Emma would have been just as bad as Cora if she didn’t push Snow out of the way?

edit: Like I had said originally, they would have been guilty of just standing by. But to actually say to stand by IS THE EXACT SAME CRIME as actually doing it is so far beyond incorrect I can’t express proper words for it. (edit: IMO of course)

Thanks for your quick answers Elle and Schmacky 🙂

Okay, but can we try and see the situation without getting our opinions of the actual characters involved just as an experiment.

Say there are three people A,B and C.
C has done something bad and horrible to hurt A and B, so C is classified as ‘the bad one’.
One day A and B sees that C is in trouble and will get hurt if they dont doo something too stop it. A and B knows for a fact that they will be able to help if they choose too.
    They choose not too…..
Does that then also classify A and B as ‘bad’ or where they right not too help, because they had been hurt by C ?
