One last curse, right? Using pieces of everyone’s heart, Regina brought all the realms to Storybrooke and then was crowned the first ever elected queen of the United Relams. Fitting end to her character? Do you think anyone from outside SB will ever find the town? What happens now?
[adrotate group="5"]"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"I actually liked the piece of everyone’s heart that brings everyone together instead of the crushing the heart you love the most which tears everyone apart. I thought it had nice symmetry and actually made sense. I was fine with Regina being crowned and I love her speech but it really is the exact same ending she got in season 6. I loved the scene where Grumpy and two of the other dwarves meet Regina at her office and are putting Regina Mills Queen of Storybrooke on her door. I think I actually got more emotional over that than this.
Nope no one will ever find SB but I hope that the people in SB can come and go as they want. They all live Happily Ever After which is how all fairy tales should end.
It’s was pretty redundant from last year when the dwarves declared her Queen of SB and I’m slightly baffled as to how an entire election and party was planned and executed without Regina knowing but…magic handwave
All that being said, it was really beautiful and I think Regina’s character goes down as the most successful in OUAT.

Maybe she Zelena and Emma (while Hook watches the baby) each took a realm and split up the work. Was there anyone else in town who had this whole heart yanking thing down?

nah, I believe she said she would use the hearts of those she loved the most and those who loved her do excluding the loved ones in Storybrooke, she’s got the two Henry’s, Lucy, and a few others to contribute to the “curse”.
Its pretty clever. Although, being who I am, I really feel like these guys just really don’t take other peoples opinions into the matter. Like….just imagine one day your chilling in your castles, doing your fairytale thing, talking to animated birds and stuff and then suddenly you end up next door to granny’s diner and someone is like “lol hey you live here now”
I’d be upset.

Keeper Of Tamara's Taser , Jafar's Staff, Kitsis’s Glasses , Ariel’s Tail, Dopey's Hat , Peter Pan’s Shadow, Outfit, & Pied Cloak,Red Queen's Castle, White Rabbit's Power To World Hop, Zelena's BroomStick, & ALL MAGICHated it. I thought it was ridiculous. And I agree, did anyone think to ask the people of all the realms if this was something they wanted?
As usual with this show: does no one think of the peasants!! I mean “congrats! You have absolutely no marketable skills in this modern world but you gotta make do here now. By the way that’s called a toilet!”
And yes, it’s very OUaT to have a few people decide the entire fate of everyone around them.
Still it’s incredibly meta, this idea of all the characters we’ve ever met living forever in Storybrooke, Maine.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"I think it makes no sense. Regina has never been shown to be the leader in any situation in present day. Sure, when she was queen through fear by committing mass murder in the past and when everyone was cursed in Storybrooke she was the leader, but never since then has she ever been the leader in any situation.
The connecting of the realms should have happened in Season 3 and should have led to adventures. It makes no sense as an ending. The way they did it with time differential and the three Reginas and three Henrys and two Hooks and possible another Rumpel and Belle is just a complete mess. It caused a hundred new plot holes.
It would have made a lot more sense as some sort of open portal situation then all the sudden all the realms fit in this itty bitty space.
Personally…I don’t really know if Regina wanted to be Queen of all the Realms, that was never what she truly wanted at the start of her life, however I think she sees it now as more of a responsibility.
The only person who was heir to all of these worlds and lands was technically Henry….he has a family tie to every realm, therefore I think he should’ve been made King of the Realms. But it is what it is at this point, and at least it was a cute ceremony and ending.

I guess it’s a metaphor for what the show has been doing all these years, but there should’ve been a threat to all the realms to justify such a drastic action in-universe.
There’s going to be a huge problem with invasive species now that all those biomes are permanently connected. I wish that final montage had included an AT-AT or closed with a Chewbacca yowl. And Storybrooke has a red light district now that all the story realms are joined.
