Questions about the finale:
1-How did Snow’s kiss wake Charming from falling off a beanstalk?
2-How did Henry’s kiss wake Emma from being stabbed by Gideon?
3-Why did Gideon turn into a baby?Any speculations/thoughts? Have Adam and Eddy addressed any of these questions as far as anyone knows?
All those 3 things made me happy, but I just want to understand how/why those things happened in terms of the rules of magic in OUAT.</p>

xD I’m sorry this is my new favorite thing ? But seriously because plot. The only real answer I can give is for why the kiss awoke Emma. I think the sword stabbing her was more of a magical thing instead of a physical thing. So the kiss undid whatever that was going to do.

Nothing else about them makes sense. Once loves character parallels and they will jump through any hoop they have to to get a Charming a chance to say some variation of ‘I will always find you’ or a Stiltskin to be abandoned as a child or to abandon one of their own kids or I don’t know make a rum joke at about Hook.
Don’t get me wrong I love a well written parallel as much as the next person, but it has to fit the story and make sense. I don’t know why the Once writers keep missing that point.

I really can’t explain the other two. Just reasons.

I agree completely. Both of the TLK’s were done just for parallels. Now did I like them, yes especially Henry to Emma I just wish it made sense. I really did not need to see another Charming TLK but I did not mind it, I just wish it made sense.
As for Gideon becoming a baby again, I have no idea how that worked either but I am COMPLETELY happy that it did. I wish the writers had not wasted so much time on filler and gave us some explanations. I mean at least have the BF say something like, “You think getting his heart back is all you have to do, well let me tell you that is just the beginning” I don’t know give us some hint that it would not work and that something else would have to happen. My crack explanation is that the book had it completely right. When Rumple (evil who was trying to do good all 6B) and Emma (good who was not acting good at all in 6B) do the right thing, faith is restored (TLK works in bringing Emma back to life and Gideon gets to become a baby again) and the finale battle is won. Now I should not have to work that hard to explain something that should have been crystal clear.

And yet that seems to be what happened. I can halfway buy Henry’s kiss to Emma – that her magic prevented her from actually dying and the kiss’s magic brought her back. But I’m pretty sure a beanstalk falling on you doesn’t magically damage you, it should kill you.

Unfortunately we know next to nothing about the dark realm and it’s fast forwarding capabilities but bc we know nothing, I have to guess that black fairy could have sped up the realm in order to get serviceable kids working in her mines to extract the black dust she used for the curse. So if that’s the case, then Gideon aging was entirely black fairy’s doing therefore if the black fairy dies, it makes sense that whatever happened to Gideon would be undone. At least that’s how I’m rationalizing it.
As far as Henry kissing Emma and saving her….this is tough but I can almost buy it. Although while Emma did kiss Henry and did save his life, she also broke a curse. Henry didn’t break any curse here. But I’m willing to maybe let this one slide.
The Snowing kiss MAKES ZERO SENSE. And it made me quite angry. The whole beanstalk stuff made me angry. Hook should not have just survived from that fall. And Charming can’t be brought back from the dead by TLK. The only way I can rationalize this is if, like Hook, Charming survived the fall and was just passed out, and then the kiss didn’t actually save him from anything and it only served to reverse mirror the pilot. He just happened to wake up when she kissed him.

Plus there was his little friend who also grew up. So it seems as if time just works differently there (like that episode of angel where his son was stolen and taken into some hell dimension, and then came back all grown because time moved faster there.)
Honestly, I think I would have been okay with RumBelle having their grownup son. Snow and Charming missed out on Emma’s childhood but they seem okay. Rump missed out on Neal’s child hood and he turned out okay…all things considered. Emma missed out on Henry’s early childhood…. And now apparently Henry missed out on his own daughter’s childhood…. Wow this hsow has some serious parenting issues xD
