I think if they’re really going to address what happened when Emma went to jail, August might play a role in that so perhaps he is back in flashbacks.

Kitsis and Horowitz: Yes.See what happened here is that the writer of the article went and assumed the person was asking about August, which they probably were, but Kitswitz have given the answer based on Pinocchio, and we’ve seen that pic of Pinocchio’s hat from one of the crew members when they were shooting a recent ep. So this really tells us nothing about seeing more August, which was probably the actual intent of the question. *headdesk*
But you forget that Adam and Eddy also mentioned a few times that we are supposed to find out how August knew Neal was Baelfire sometime this Season, so it could easily be referring to that too. At least I hope they do, and that idea isn’t just forgotten about.

That was my thought as well. There are a few things needed when it comes to August
–who told him where to find Emma
–what was “part B” of the Neal/August conversation, after August convinced Neal that the Curse was real
–Who actually called the cops and what role did each man play in that.
And *then* August’s storyline might be pretty much wrapped.

Kitsis: Perhaps someday. Adam Horowitz: Maybe.
Really? Sounds more like a yes to me.
RumplesGirl wrote: Will Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) discuss Snow’s desire to have another child? Kitsis and Horowitz: Yes.
I think Snow will find out she’s already pregnant and then tell Emma and Charming back in SB.
RumplesGirl wrote: Will Snow and Charming (Josh Dallas) find out about Neal (Michael Raymond-James) sending Emma to jail? Horowitz: Neal sending Emma to jail comes up again and is dealt with.
Yes, I’m glad this won’t be swept under the rug. Call me crazy, but I think Charming and Snow would actually understand Neal if they knew his reason was to get Emma home and to let her be the savior since it’s the same reason David and Snow let Emma go through the wardrobe.
RIP TinkerMama
Yes, ’twas a fun theory while it lasted.
Are we ever going to see Pinocchio (Eion Bailey) again? Kitsis and Horowitz: Yes.
Soon, hopefully! TV Guide says Eion Bailey but I wonder if Adam and Eddy didn’t really mean little actor who plays little Pinocchio since there was the spoiler of the photo of little Pinocchio’s hat in the water. I have a bad feeling about Pinocchio and his connection to shady BF.
Are we ever going to find out why Emma goes by the last name Swan? Horowitz: Yes.
We already know why since J-Mo tweeted Emma got her last name from her foster parents, the Swans, who sent her back to the orphanage when she was 3 because they had a kid of their own.
Emma’s heart could not be ripped out. Could Henry’s because he did it himself? Kitsis: Yes.
I’m still confused. Was Eddy saying Henry’s heart could only ripped out because he did it himself? Would Henry’s heart be protected if someone else tried to remove it by force?
Will Henry ever learn that his mom Regina erased his memory after she told him of her plan to let everyone else die? Horowitz: Can’t say.
That actually sounds like a yes to me.
Will more worlds be explored in the second half of the season? Horowitz: Yes.
Yes, has to be Oz! Sneaky fairy flees to Oz.
Will Emma be tempted by Dark Magic like Rumple and Regina were? Kitsis: Always. Horowitz: And dark chocolate. Kitsis: Yeah.
This should be interesting to see Emma struggling with going dark or not. I think Neal could actually be a good influence on her since he knows how dark magic can destroy a family as it did his own.

They could have been referring to that I suppose. It’s just that they tend to choose their words particularly in these lightening rounds, and so if “Pinocchio” was the wording in the question, I think they were answering about the kid in SB, not August, and we know from the hat pic that the kid in SB will indeed be seen again. But yes, we do absolutely need another August appearance in flashback, and I’m sure we’ll get that at some point. Just not convinced that’s what they were referring to with this particular answer.

It’s the “perhaps someday” from Eddy that makes me think they have no plans.
I’m still confused. Was Eddy saying Henry’s heart could only ripped out because he did it himself? Would Henry’s heart be protected if someone else tried to remove it by force?
They did leave it vague. The way I read it was, following the trend with Emma, Henry’s heart cannot be taken. HE can take it but that’s it.

If there’s anyone who actually has the capacity to empathise with Neal’s actions, it’s Emma’s parents, because they had to abandon her for Curse reasons, just like he did. And their relationship with Emma is damaged because of their actions, just like Neal’s is. And had he not left her, Snow and Charming may well have never seen her again, so I actually think they’d appreciate the sacrifice he made, for their sake.
I know the opposing side has a completely opposite interpretation of how Emma’s parents would feel about Neal though. So that’s why it will be a relief to see their reaction actually clarified in canon, so the speculation and debating can end.
November 21, 2013 at 11:14 pm #225681RumplesGirlKeymasterSo I’m wondering if 312 might be the August/Neal flashback to the “Tallahassee incident.” And if we’re right that Neal is incarcerated for the disappearance of Tamara ( I know…controversial theory) then it might parallel nicely: Emma trying to get Neal out of jail while he and August send her TO jail.

Yes, that would actually be a good thing to see! It was hinted in Lightning Round 9 that we’d see flashbacks of Neal’s life prior to “Manhattan” as well as see August again.

Yes, will be good to have that issue out in the open, one way or another. We’re supposed to get some Emma/Charming heart-to-hearts soon, according to Adam Horowitz via Twitter. I’m wondering if Charming and Emma talk about this very issue since Snow and Charming made the same decision to put Emma in the wardrobe to save them as Neal did by letting Emma go to break his father’s dark curse, thereby getting her home.

November 21, 2013 at 11:37 pm #225686kfchimeraParticipantAs Matthew Paul said, there’s a lot to tell with August that was sort of swept under the rug as well, but if they only mean kid August, they may not get into it or need to get into it to address what happened with Neal and Emma in the past.
I forgot to cry about TinkerMomma! There was such a beautiful potential story there, that the only thing to console me is that if the Spinner-Fate-Rumple Momma works, then Tinkermomma would have been redundant and kind of odd.
Then again, it’s sad not to know more about Belle’s family either, but I suppose we should see Charming’s dad first.
