Random Hades Story

Here’s a random Hades story that was featured in one of the storybook pages:

Sadly, not all of it is legible, but here’s what I was able to transcribe:

Hades nodded to himself, impressed with the
leader’s magic. The leader was elegantly dressed in
black, which also impressed Hades. Proper fashion was
very important to him. He noticed that much more than
whatever the leader was shouting about. It was a terrible
tirade about some young farm girl who had offended
the great leader.

The leader believed that the blue (?) villagers were hiding
the farm girl. But instead of snapping the necks of the villagers
for their heinous crimes,the leader merely went down the line of them,
transforming each one into a drooling, screeching beast. This form of
animorphic retribution may have been satisfying to the leader,
but it wouldn’t do at all for Hades. He’d have to somehow convince
the leader to go back to plain old killing. It turns out this leader
was one of Hades’ largest suppliers of souls, and he couldn’t very well
have that supply dry up. He started [obscured] of deal he’d offer when
the leader [obscured] into a hairy beast.

Of course this didn’t work. The leader had [obscured]
taken Hades for one of the blue (?) villagers
[illegible] [obscured] but Hades is a God. Even though he did [obscured]
reside on Mount Olympus [obscured]

This seems to be about Oz. Munchkinland is a very blue themed place in the books, and the farm girl may be Dorothy.

Also the thing about them hiding her may refer to the same situation Zelena went to confront them on. But hmmm… this “leader” is quite clearly the villain, and an obvious murderer. So..not Zelena? And he has magic… Hmm… The Gnome King perhaps?

Here’s an interesting observation: I don’t see one single gender reference for this “leader”. In fact, the leader is called “the leader” way too many times, in what seems like a conspicuous effort to not say “he” or “she”!

And, why the emphasis on Hades admiring the leader’s fashion sense more than their anger? Could this actually be Zelena? 😮 Was Hades in disguise, or did she just forget all this?

I mean, Hades told Zelena he had been watching her for a while before he introduced himself, right? Could this be when she first caught his eye?

Oh, I just got it this is the story of Hades and Zelena. What Liam threw down the well.

I am a little slow today guys. I guess one half was the Zelena and hades first meeting and the later part was the thing with Zeus.
