RANT : JUST had to get this off my chest

I am terribly angry with PINOCCHIO / AUGUST … I really would like the GIANT to rip off his limbs and beat him up- side the head with them……. He stole the $$$$ Neal wanted Emma to have when she needed it most…. Maybe she could have kept HENRY if she had the $$$$. INSTEAD THE SELFISH WOOD HEAD … ran off to Puket with the $$$$.

Who is he to decide that she had to give up everything so that SHE COULD SAVE E/F or FTL. IT was not his call. With GUARDIAN ANGELS like him …. WHO NEEDS ENEMIES….

I do agree–he was wrong to spilt them apart the way he did. His actions were what made it hard for Emma to believe anything he said about the curse. Also, she probably would have needed that money. He didn’t have to give it to her right away–send the money to her after she got released from jail. That way, no suspicion would be drawn, or contant her during her stay in jail and talk to her so that she would (to an extent) trust him.

However, I am open to hearing Pinocchio’s side of the story–there will be an episode for him, so we may find out everything. 🙂

I thought it was pretty crappy what he did to Neal and Emma, but I wouldn’t assume he kept the money. What do you think that officer would have done if she opened up that piece of mail and found several thousand dollars? Considering where Emma was and why she was there, there is a possibility it would have been confiscated.

Putting the money in the envelope isn’t the only way to give Emma the money. And no, it wouldn’t be in the car. That’s stupid putting 20 grand in a car for 9 months (as she received the mail at least two months later). He could have given her another key and slip in the envelope with a safe deposit box #.

From August’s expression when seeing the cash I think they made it quite obvious he pocketed it. And plus the podcast confirms it. But even without the podcast, it seemed really obvious to me that he kept that money.

I agree–he kept the money. the podcast confirmed it, and Jane Espenson confirmed it in an interview. 🙂 And it was pretty clear from his expression that he was going to keep the money and run off to pleasure island.

He did take the money. The writers confirmed it. 🙂 The look on his face when he took the money confirms it, the fact that all Emma got was the keys and the car, and the fact that the address was from Phuket.
