Red Riding Hood’s Curse.

Since we know no that magic is reversed in storybrook(Because Matt Hatter’s hat had to be spinned the opposite way to work). What if Red, when or if she turns, can now control her wolf form in some way. I mean, she has to play a more significant role now that the actress who plays her was upgraded to the main cast.

I thought this was interesting. Thoughts?

It seems like she had figured out how to control her wolf form at some point in Fairytale land. Just going mainly from the scene where Snow is trying to recuse Charming from King George’s castle. Red managed to scout (and eat someone) in wolf form and report back afterwards to Snow and company.

Maybe, instead of having more control, she’ll have less again and have to learn how to gain control again under this new magic?

I think eventually Red may go wolf in the real world. Though now that it seems that Emma seems to be the magical causer, Red may stay human until later. Did she touch Red? I don’t think so, so maybe she is okay unless Red can be magically imbibed some other way.

I hope she goes wolf in the real world! I think that would be one crazy episode! Where do we think Red’s magical cape is? Mr. Golds shop? Hidden somewhere at Grannies? Granny must know that she will now need the cape for Red during a full moon aka wolfs time.

I was thinking the same thing. I heard that they’ve castes for 7 wolf characters(A pack). I believe we’ll see this come into play with Red’s story.

And they could then show Red learn how to control her powers for the first time in fairytale land while at the same time relearn how to control them in the real world.

I’m guessing she’ll wolf out in SB, because seriously, how could they resist showing us that?

The real thing I’m wondering about is if she can just automatically do it, or if she’ll have to tap into it somehow, like how Regina seemed to tap into and regain her powers after contact with Emma. In Red’s case, it’s not learned magic, or a curse that was put on her, her wolf was just part of her genetic makeup. So does that mean that she’s automatically got that ability back? Maybe she wouldn’t be expecting it, after seeing how Regina’s powers originally failed, so maybe it’ll catch everyone unawares when it happens.

That is exactly how i feel, phee, just simply honestly how could they resist showing her wolf out in Storybrooke.

I do agree that it seems like Red still had some of her abilities as a wolf, like her increased sense of smell and hearing because she was able to find David and find the heart with those abilities. So she may still have her wolfing out innate in her which may be different then with Regina’s magics.

I think Red will wolf out automatically and there will be the moment where Charming will have to stop her without killing her. Perhaps she wolfs out whilst looking after Henry then Henry has to run for his life whilst Red hunts him in wolf form. Is there any Red-centric episodes coming up?
