I’ve seen a lot on how Regina and Emma’s relationship will possibly change next season since Marian is back, but I haven’t seen anything about how Marian being back will affect Regina’s friendship with Snow, and also, the big secret that Rumple killed Zelena will affect Regina’s friendship with Rumple?
[adrotate group="5"]May 21, 2014 at 8:19 am #270761TheWatcherParticipantWow Regina is really gone be hit from all sides. She looses her sister and her true love is in jeopardy. I really hope that Regina….in a very rare moment…actually doesn’t respond with anger, but opens up and cries. And Emma or Snow could be her shoulder to cry on.

But again, I hope Regina deals with everything that happened to her in a mature manner instead of lashing out.

Like probably a nervous breakdown of sorts to where we can’t blame her because life has decided to rear it’s ugly head on her once again….the woman has suffered enough, and I think when she realizes Rumple killed her sister, would be the straw to break the camel’s back. All I have to say is “Watch Out Storybrooke!”

I would. The best thing to do, like Obisgirl said, would be to handle it in a mature way. All of SB doesn’t have to suffer just because she throws a hissy fit. Shr can’t always start hurling out fireballs and curses when life doesn’t go how she plans. I see her going after Emma as a more reasonable thing… Wrong… But reasonable. I swear this season we should really see more characters going to Archie to vent xD

She might be a bit snarky at him but she herself threatened to kill Zelena if she tried anything. Regina can’t really do anything against Rumple for Zelena’s death for the reason that, if Regina feels like she has the right to seek revenge against Rumple for Zelena’s death, then Rumple had every right to seek revenge against Zelena for Neal’s death. Therefore, Regina would come across as a giant hypocrite if she tried anything against Rumple.
I could see Regina being resentful towards Emma because Emma has thrown Regina’s relationship with Robin into jeopardy. However Regina would know that she can’t try to kill the Charmings anymore because of Henry so Regina is going to have to deal with her problems in a more mature way instead of curses and fireballs because she has no choice!

And I think Snow will help her with that — I think Regina and Snow have grown close enough that though Regina might push back at first, but will ultimately let Snow in to help.
Although I hope they let Regina teeter on the edge between good and bad a bit! Regina on the edge is fantastic to watch!!
May 24, 2014 at 3:58 pm #271159PriceofMagicParticipantWhen Belle finds out about Rumple’s lies, I don’t want it to be because Regina told her. Otherwise, Robin should find out how Regina had Marian executed as an example of what happens to those that helped Snow. Marian is alive now only because Emma intervened.

I agree. That’s why I can’t buy the idea that Marian will somehow die and Robin and Regina will then pick up where they left off. It’s inconceivable that Marian won’t tell Robin what happened to her and once he discovers that Regina intended to kill Marian (and presumably did in the original timeline), he may forgive Regina, but he’s certainly not going to be eager for a romance with her, even if Marian should be out of the picture. Well, maybe if Regina risked her own life trying to save Marian and/or Roland from some menace, but even then it would be a difficult relationship.
May 24, 2014 at 4:35 pm #271164PriceofMagicParticipantRobin is in a lose/lose situation. If he leaves Marian for Regina, he looks bad for leaving his wife for her would-be murderer. If he leaves Regina for Marian, he looks like he was just using Regina as a bed warmer and now he’s dropped her because Marian has come back. Either way, Robin isn’t going to come out of this looking good. Also there is no way Marian would want Roland anywhere near Regina now.
