I am more likely to believe Jefferson is Bae than Bae being henry’s dad. If that is true there is a reason why he has not contacted Gold…..and that is they left not quite in good terms. He called Rumples a coward and telling him how he broke his deal with him.

I know it’s rather fashionable at the moment to assume one character is another (e.g. Cora is QoH) but I’m not necessarily on that band wagon either. So far the only person we’ve seen portray someone else is when Rumpel took the place of Cinder’s fairy godmother and the Beast. We’ve yet to see any other character take the place of another traditional fairy-tale. Of course, this being OUAT, I’m not closed to there being twists and turns along the way.

If they were brother and sister, though, you’d think grace being her niece might have come up. Obviously not in an actually loving aunt sort of way, but a uninterested “how is my niece?” seems likely instead of just calling her “your daughter” whenever she mentions him to jefferson.

Yeah point taken. She does stress the importance of family. Grace/ Paige is always refered to as your daughter. Then it has to be a connection to Jefferson, Regina and the Queen of Hearts, whom we know not of her identity. I think its either her sister or Cora.

I mean we didn’t know that her father wasn’t just her servant until the end of the episode when she finally calls him daddy and rips out his heart. So the idea that she wouldn’t call Grace, my niece, doesn’t seem like enough.

They might have recognized each other as being from FTL just like French/Italians/ Chinese etc people recognize other French/ Italians/ Chinese etc people. ( May after a night of drinking down in their cups)
Anyways they form a friendship and share secrets. That is how Pinocchio knows about the knife and Rumple.

Were they Time Bandits or some cosmic version of Bonnie & Clyde using the hat as a Realm-jumping get-away-car?
They could make a whole awesome spin-off show based on that concept. 😆

While I agree that it’s an interesting idea, I don’t think that Regina knew about Rumpelstiltksin’s history with his son. Back in episode 19, Mr. Gold was surprised that August knew about the knife or his son, because I believe Mr. Gold said no one besides Baelfire knew about it. I don’t think Regina knows about the knife, because Mr. Gold buried it to keep anyone else from finding out about it, especially Regina.
Yeah, I’m inclined to think that Rumple kept that dagger a very closely guarded secret from everyone except Bae. He killed their maid over it on the off chance she got a good enough look at it to draw a picture and tell someone about it. I think the only other person who’d have knowledge of it would be Blue Fairy/Mother Superior, (so I think she’s where August got that picture of it). Also, we’ve seen Regina question Mr Gold about why he created the curse, so it’s safe to assume she doesn’t know about his history with his son.

Yeah, she certainly didn’t refer to Grace as being a family member, and if she’s all about not abandoning family, would she have abandoned Jefferson in Wonderland if they were related?
They certainly have a history though, and I’m inclined to believe it wasn’t purely professional because they have some serious chemistry. Maybe Regina and Jefferson were a couple, (not necessarily a full on twu wuv relationship, I’m thinking more of a friends with benefits type situation), when he met Grace’s mother and then he left Regina for her?
Maybe Jefferson had something to do with whatever happened to Grace’s mother. And then he went and left Grace behind too. So perhaps Regina’s line about abandoning family was as if to say, “Some of us had our love taken away through no fault of our own. You had it all and threw it away. You don’t deserve to have a family.”
