Putting this here. Seems like RegalHood/Arrow is off to a good start.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"Personally I am a fan of RegalHood as a ship name, but I am open to RegalArrow as well. =) I was unsure how I would feel about a potential love interest for Regina, but i boarded this ship so fast. I am going to be twiddling my thumbs waiting rather impatiently for the moment where they meet and Regina is all EQ then she sees the tattoo and she gets all school girl giddy and embarrassed around him. *jumps up and down excitedly* its going to be so nice to see that softer side of her again!!
I am just hoping that Regina finding a true love doesnt parallel Snow losing hers….. we know how OUAT loves parallels…
Oh…I couldn’t sleep at all last night wondering what if Regina had went in the bar and met Robin Hood…and I just love RegalHood or RegalArrow…one or the two will become official!! And Henry will have a little brother Roland, and Robin Hood will be his step-father!!!!

The more I think about this pairing, the more I like it! Definitely has a lot of potential and I look forward to watching it play out!
I’ve only mildly shipped Regina before but we haven’t seen her actually interact with someone she’s genuinely interested in (and not controlling) since Daniel so it’s been tough. Can’t wait for them to actually meet! I want her to see the tattoo and not know how to react and have him fluster her a bit. She’s usually so in control that it’ll be a nice change of pace and has a lot of potential to show a softer side to her.
I’ve enjoyed her a lot more so far this season. She’s mostly just been snarky but at least not trying to kill the rest of the big dysfunctional family. I think she finally learned her lesson after the finale when she was prepared to die to stop the failsafe from going off. I’ve never trusted her redemption paths before but I think she’s finally heading in the right direction and once she sees that the guy with the lion tattoo is still around and he’s lost someone too, she’ll have real hope again. Henry is her priority and I’m sure she’ll love little Roland as well!
We don’t know enough about Robin Hood yet for me to say what this means for him, but as in most versions I’ve seen, he lost Marian (sad face) but such is the cost of magic which he knows all too well now. I’m excited to learn more of his story for sure!
LOVE that manip of the 3 of them together! It really looks like a beautiful family! Now we just need to get them all in the same shot for real with Henry there too!
Still can’t decide which name I like best. Different places are calling them different things. =/ So many good options though!

I like the sleepless in seattle approach for now as I said on one of the spec /earlier threads. Regina has to keep earning her redemption. Plus I want to get to know Robin, beyond saucy but brave and kind, good father. I am still sad they went with recasting RH rather than a new character like Zorro (that was my favorite wild spec).

Here’s how I think it’s going to go down….which means it won’t happen at all this way.
Robin Hood is going to interact with the cast at some point this season for two more episodes in this half of the season. So I predict he’ll return in Episodes 10 and 11. I don’t know if they go through the Enchanted Forest or he comes to Storybrooke, but whatever reason, they meet up. Regina by accident sees the infamous tattoo that she hasn’t thought about in ages until Tinker Bell comes back into her life. However, just like the first time, she isn’t ready to take that leap of faith into loving once again. Her chance has passed. I imagine (or hope as a sign of character development) her seeing Robin Hood and Roland and flashing back to what she did to Hansel, Gretel and their father and Kurt and Owen. She might feel he’s better off without her. He’s found his own happy ending in a different way and she has no part in it. She did show Tinker Bell her black heart.
But then I can imagine them being drawn together once they meet. It will be interesting to see how Robin reacts to Regina knowing her as the Evil Queen. He’s, as others have mentioned, a bit saucy (what a great word) so he might not be as put off as others. He might see it as a challenge. Whatever happens, it will be interesting…and this is coming from someone who isn’t Regina’s biggest fan by a long shot.
I wonder how he’ll react is, or more like when, he finds out about Regina and the tattooed prediction and her walking away. I think he’ll be totally fine with it. Things happen for a reason and unlike Tink’s prediction, she didn’t ruin his life. He had love and a little boy. Fate works in mysterious ways.
