It was really interesting to see Regina’s character journey this season. Back in season one, until we saw The Stable Boy, I didn’t like her. But after watching The Stable Boy, I got it. I understand why she hated Snow. Season two, she tried to be good for Henry but the death of Cora put her right back onto the path of vengeance.

Then, this season, we really saw her character grow. She’s accepted Emma as a co-parent for Henry and in the winter finale, admitted that she was wrong to enact the curse. I thought her last gift to Emma, giving her happy memories of her life with Henry was really beautiful.

I hope she gets to see Henry again and she and Robin Hood find each other. I feel like Regina is ready to accept love back into her life. I think her ideal happy ending is that she finds true love again and continues to have a presence in Henry’s life.

I would be disappointed if after all the progress she’s made as a character that she reverts back to being evil. I really want to see her continue growing.

All Hail My Queen! That’s all I have to say, and fear not….The Evil Queen is dead…LONG LIVE THE WONDERFUL QUEEN! But if you cross her, or hurt anyone in this family matriarch’s family…The Evil Queen will live again! Just saying…watch out Wicked Witch of the West!

P.S. Lana Parrilla won performer of the week for TvLine for her wonderful performance on Going Home…just saying…I think another Emmy award is needed for this woman!

CHEERS TO THOSE WHO WISH LANA PARRILLA WELL, AND THOSE WHO DON’T BOOOOOO——-!

WickedRegal, I think you were trying to be funny, but that’s still a terrible thing to say.

I always talk about Redemption Road with our characters. For me, redemption isn’t a destination it’s journey. I am a lot like Obisgirl; up until Stable Boy I really didn’t like Regina. I thought she was petty and cruel and I couldn’t fathom her logic. Then Stable Boy happened and I softened to her. I continued to soften to her throughout the rest of the series so far. Then 311. She basically got on a pair of high powered roller blades and  FLEW down Redemption Road. Those final moments with Emma and Henry, giving them “a gift,” I was bawling my eyes out. Such an amazing journey from Evil Queen cursing people at a wedding to letting the thing she loves most go.

Lana deserved the TVLine performer deal.

(changed to something a little less intense)

If Rumple is dead, I think it’s safe to say that Regina, also a villain, will never see her happy ending.  But, if Rumple is alive, (in whatever state he’s in) I can’t wait to see where Regina’s journey to happiness takes her.

no, even though Rumpelstiltskin is dead Regina can still have a happy ending. after all, she became a villain because he taught her magic. he could have infused some common sense into those magic lessons: cut your losses, don’t waste your life on revenge, love again, etc. but no… he just taught he magic and power. now, although she became a villain and killed people all by herself, she is really only a product of her magic man.

She started out as a sweet kind gentle girl who loved a stable boy. after her mother killed him, instead of blaming her mother for her heartache, she blamed a little girl. THIS is where her character began to deteriorate. it’s when she started on the road to evil. so can you really blame Cora for putting her there? not really. REGINA should have had more sense then that. it’s ok to hate her mother, but why snow?

It was Regina’s choice to use dark magic as a means to exact revenge on those she perceived to have wronged her. She wasn’t much different from Rumple. He was also a good man who was tempted by magic. Regina was offered two paths to solve her need to ease her boredom and anger. Tink advised her to choose love. Rumple advised her to choose dark magic. The choice was Regina’s. She chose to become a villain. In the end, she did redeem herself, as did Rumple. I suppose the difference might be that Rumple still considered himself a villain as he made his ultimate act of self sacrifice. But, the question remains, can villains ever get their happy ending?

I think the reason why Regina chose not to blame her mother was because ultimately, she was scared of Cora.
