Green Ring Theory – Just like Snow’s green ring, Regina has a green ring given to her by her True Love, Robin Hood. Just like Mary Margaret, Regina’s true memories were wiped away and she does not remember her True Love. And just like Mary Margaret, Regina has a daughter she does not remember….Bandit Snow White…daughter of Robin Hood and Regina.

Really too early to be calling Robin Regina’s “True love”… he waso nly in this ep for about 3 minutes too.

We know he is her true love because of Tinker Bell’s fairy dust. This is just a theory so only time will tell if it is true but I think a lot of clues point to their having known each other before and their memories are wiped out. When Regina returned to her castle and Henry was in New York she wanted to put herself under a sleeping curse because the pain was too great. If they knew each other before and someone came between them (can you say “Cora”) then I could see her wiping out her memories because the pain was too great…like Snow did when she thought Charming was marrying Kathryn.

Interesting theories nealfanforever, however:

Are you saying Snow is Regina’s child? Regina had her hand on her belly after she’d met Snow.

The green ring- Regina was wearing the green ring before she ever met Robin.

The black and blue- I think that’s meant to represent the character’s level of darkness. Belle wore mostly blue but as Lacey she got a bit darker hence the black. Regina wore mostly black but as she got a bit lighter she began wearing lighter colours hence the blue.

The arrow tip necklace is a good catch and probably was a hint to the OQ romance.

Yes, I think Regina has a backstory before Daniel that we have never seen.  I think she knew Robin before she ever met Daniel.  I think Robin gave her the green ring.  I think her and Robin’s memories were wiped and they do  not know that they knew each other before.  This parallels the story of David and Mary Margaret in Storybrooke.  They had a relationship, David gave her the green ring, they had a baby and they didn’t remember any of it at all.   Mary Margaret makes the comment, “Snow White had a kid…you would think she would remember that.”  We also saw this in the Enchanted Forest when Snow White drank the potion and wiped her memories of Charming.
