We finally know more about those keys Emma discovered in Regina’s office. How creepy is that?!
Do you think that each key opens a different house door or is it one master house key and the other keys don’t open the inhabitants houses, but other things (like a box, or a cellar, etc)?
Something funny I realised: the door has a modern lock, the key has a really old tip (Don’t know if there’s a special name for it … You know, the actual key, not the part you hold.). It shouldn’t fit!!
Did the key magically change its form to fit? I know, small detail, but it’s just weird.
When I first saw the keys I thougth they were to something in the place where all the hearts are.
At first I thougth it perhaps was to the heart but it does not look like she needed a key for that.
There certainly were a lot of keys on that ring. The one she used very well could have been a Skeleton Key. Basically, a key that opens every door. A lot of old Bed and Breakfasts used them, made things simple for clean up.
I think that a good majority of those keys open various boxes in the vault where she had the Sheriff’s heart. One key might open a “high level” character’s box (For example, if King Midas’s heart was Box B) a key would be needed to open it as opposed to not needing a key for someone like Cinderella’s heart in box F. Make sense?
No, I don’t get it. xD Sorry.
You mean (in this example) that Kind Midas’ heart would be more valuable than Cinderella’s? And the really important ones have keys?
There weren’t any keyholes in that vault with the hearts. At least not as far as I can remember.
I don’t think that all the keys are just for the doors of the houses. I like the idea that the key is a magical and can fit any of the doors. And we know that one key went to the box that Regina kept the snake in and now one went to Kathryn’s door, so we know it is more then just the doors to peoples houses. Also i don’t think that they are to the heart boxes which seem to open magically.
Ah, yes, the snake box! Totally forgot that.
can’t wait to see what the others open. *_*

Yes, that’s what I meant. I’d have to go back and watch the episode again, but there very well could be certain boxes that have locks on them. If I recall, we didn’t get a full pan across the boxes, and as big as the vault is, there could be some in there. I don’t know. Guess we’ll see.
Emma should have grabbed the keys when she had the chance. 😮
The keys actually reminded of the Skeleton keys used in Beetlejuice, which were used to unlock every door in the haunted house.
Yeah it was SO CREEPY. I cringed at the same time that I was going, “Woah, that’s what the keys are for!”
And she vandalized MM’s car in this episode too! Real mature! How low won’t that woman go? Tsk.
I didn’t remember the keys from Beetlejuice, good catch.
