I also like the idea of a character appreciation forum. Us fangirls need a place to let out all of our sqealing or else it’ll cause harm to the other members when we storm the other threads with our nuttery. 😆 😆 😆

I’d also love for the forums to have a section for all romantic, familial and platonic relationships. Sometimes talking about a couple in one thread may offend others who support another a ship.

Maybe couple threads could just be in the character section, but make a separate thread for them as a couple. Just an idea.

Ah! That’s actually a great idea! Thanks! 😀

I think these would be fine right inside the Character forum. Just make sure your thread titles are clear.

Is there any way to make it so that links that lead off this domain open in a new tab? It’s driving me nuts every time I click something in a thread to go look at a picture or watch a video that I’m navigated away from here rather than just getting an additional window to look at something and then being able to click back over to my forum window and comment on it.

I’ve tried looking through the user control settings and don’t see any way to change this but please let me know if I’ve missed it.

This is a good request, but I’m torn on it. Users can usually Cmd- or Ctrl-click a link to open it in a new tab, or Shift-click to open in a new window. But making this happen throughout the website forces everyone to follow that behavior.

I’ll do some research on the usability and user-friendliness of this. I consider myself an “ethical marketer,” which is why you never see obnoxious popups on our sites, or all-caps marketing language. 🙂

That annoyed me too, so now I just right click on the link, then select “Open in New Tab.” I think that may be what Daniel was referring to also.
