How did Will get to Oz? How did Will escape Oz?

How did that door we saw Robin come through get to Oz? Did it fall out of the sky? How did Rumple create a door to Oz then?

I have..questions about all of this…?

When I first saw that shot of Robin entering Oz in the updated version of the promo, I instantly thought that maybe they had borrowed Jefferson’s hat. I say this because Robin entered Oz via the same looking emerald curtain that we saw in Jefferson’s hat before. Maybe this plot point explanation was the victim of being in a deleted scene? There’s still the question concerning how Will traveled to Oz, of course.

I’m a bit confused; is Will originally from Oz? Because that would crush my Willastasia childhood friends headcanon.

I actually missed the scene where RH arrives in Oz but I assumed that the door simply fell out of the sky and the guard happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time? Is that not what happened? Ive seen other things were portal operate like that, twitches being one of them.

I also said years ago that it’d be weird if every land has this one random door that is always there but never works until Jefferson spins his hat. I would much prefer it if the doors drop into the places they are intended to go.

They just wanted the sightgag of a person’s feet sticking out from under a thing because LOLZ!OZ. But in doing so they screwed up what could have been easily accepted as a Hat thing that we just didn’t see the other side of.

And then they have Will say that he’d move the guard so he’d wake up somewhere far away? Soooooo, getting crushed by something falling on you doesn’t kill you then?
