What will Ingrid do with the three ribbons? Do you think they will bind Ingrid, Emma, and Elsa together as family?

If the ribbons are a powerful symbol of the love her & her sisters shared, the perhaps she thinks they will force Emma & Elsa to love her.

I wonder if the ribbons are one of the ingredients she needs in the magic to make Elsa and Emma “become” her two deceased sisters. Like they’re objects they had owned back then so it can connect the two sisters of the past with the two there presently. I get the feeling for some reason that she’s going to do some sort of spell that will somehow make them think they are actually Helga and Gerda or at least actually her sisters.

Oooor perhaps because there was so much love involved in the original use of the ribbons she may be able to do something with them so that the wearers will be immune to the curse from the mirror.

I do think it’s a combination of these two things

There was a picture of Elsa wearing a yellow ribbon in the filming thread

Was the tree the kite landed in an oak tree? Tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree?

I thought the powerful sisterly bond the ribbons represented was broken when Ingrid traded that token for magical things. The price of her magical tokens was a broken bond with her sisterhood.
She had the unconditional love, and a family who loved her, but she traded them for magical things.

I don’t believe for a moment that those ribbons can recreate a sisterly bond that includes Ingrid.

I think they will be used to represent a new sisterhood between Elsa, Emma, and perhaps Anna. Emma will keep the ribbon in her memory box, symbolizing that she is not alone in her magic. There can be beauty in magic and she is freely joining a sisterhood of magical women of good heart.

Also, that prophecy of Ingrid’s makes no sense, assuming she wrote it, as she will never be in a loving sisterhood with Emma or Elsa. However, the prophecy would be beautiful if it was revealed to have been written for, or by, Elsa.

    I think that is right
