So far we’ve met two Saviors: Emma Swan and Aladdin.

Emma is the Savior because of her parents True Love but also because Rumple put a drop of that true love on to the Dark Curse before Regina cast it.

Aladdin seems to be a Savior because he’s a diamond in the rough, a thief with a heart of gold.

Are there commonalities between Saviors? What makes a Savior? Can anyone qualify or are there certain criteria? Are Saviors made or born?

So many loaded questions and it disappoints m that they probably won’t get answered.  This was a classic Lost episode that introduced more questions than answers.  It sounds as if Saviors are made, not born, similarly with magic.  And it does seem like there is a certain criteria but what that criteria is is very vague right now.
