We gather here in the enchanted forest today to mourn Rumplestiltskin: dark one, sorcerer, father, beloved, matchmaker to Snowing, counsellor to emma Henry aREgina and eveyroen else, smart dealmaker and pawn shop powner.
He will be greatly missed.

In every tv show you know that if there is no body than there a good chance that person isn’t dead, so until we see a body i say he is alive. The second reason is that I don’t think it realistic that one dagger can manage to kill two people at the exact same time. If it was sword sure I’ll buy it, but a dagger no way. At most he was pierced. I have no idea where rumple is, but he is alive.
Well one thing if for sure: this was his undoing.
But about the dagger: it was magic. That’s why there was the freaky glowy stuff. The dagger cannot pierce both hearts but the dagger of the dark one kills the previous incranation as it makes a new dark one. So the spell bounced back and forth, killing Rumple and his father.
He is most likely powerless now.

From a logical standpoint I know that if BOBBY CARLYLE was leaving the show, we’d know by now.
But…in the part of my brain that just watched a character who means the world to me, who has touched me on a very personal level, DIE AS A HERO….I’m a mess.

Just wanted to make sure no one missed that, because I don’t wanna be suffering suffering with the angst of that on my own. I wonder if that was a random (genius) acting choice by Bobby, or something that was actually scripted? If it was scripted, I have to wonder if it might have some significance for Rumple’s fate. Even in that moment where he was murdering his father, there was still love and forgiveness there in some measure.

I caught it. It was then I realized that this was really happening.
I’m also just going to point this out:
216 “Miller’s Daughter”
“you’re a hero to your people…”
311 “Going Home”
Rumple dies a hero.

He needs to have his happily ever after with Belle and Bae. I don’t understand why he had to stab himself and Pan with the dagger? Why are they connected? What does the Dark One Curse have to do with Peter Pan? Why couldn’t he have just stabbed Pan?
I remember Blue said that Rumple’s magic is not from the EF realm—maybe he was sent back to the realm where the DO dagger originated? Maybe, we will get some backstory for the Dark One Curse.I think Rumple will find a way back to Belle, he has to.

Also it was kind of a fitting end so it showed that all magic comes with a price. 🙁
I don't cause commotions, I am one.

Ok that’s true, but I don’t think he’d do that. He loves playing Rumple/Gold/the wicked Imp.
