they secretly killed Rumplestiltskin just so they can say
“for our next spin off we are going to do the dark and funny adventures of rumplestiltskin” all the 200 years worth of deals we did not see. lol. no i am sure they wont but it would be awesome.

December 15, 2013 at 11:50 pm #231017storybrookegirlParticipantI neither think he’s really dead nor understand why he had to die for Pan to die. But I definitely do think they went somewhere not good. I mean, Rumple killed himself, meaning that he killed the Dark One, so he should have become the Dark One, but he was dead. He and his dad got sucked into a paradox, and I can’t wait to see where they end up.
December 16, 2013 at 12:06 am #231030darkones1fanParticipantWell obviously he’s not dead and I have a few reason that could back me up.
1. He’s a main character
2. They didn’t show the body
3. He disappeared in a magical puff of light.
4. The explicitly gave us a loophole for his resurrection when Regina said that when Storybrooke disappears it would be as if nothing has happened.
5. Rumple brings in the ratings his biggest alley right now are the studio execs who want to make a load of money.
December 16, 2013 at 12:08 am #231031MyrilParticipantIf they hadn’t brought back the Blue Fairy before, then maybe, just maybe, audience might have been able for longer than a mere second to be truelly shocked and now worried, if Rumple will come back. But no, they brought her back. So no suspense here in my opinion, no rest in peace for Rumple. Unless Robert Carlyle wants to do something else, they won’t write Rumple out of the show.
¯\_(?????? ?)_/¯
December 16, 2013 at 12:12 am #231036darkones1fanParticipantWell of course he’s not dead. I have some very important reasons why.
1. They didn’t show a body (On Tv and Movies if they don’t show a body your not dead)
2. He’s a main character.
3. He disappeared in a puff of white lights. Perfect excuse to say he got teleported somewhere. Also a good excuse to bring Pan back.
4. By undoing Storybrooke you have a chance to say that the events that took place never occurred thus brining back Rumple same way David was brought back when the curse was enacted.
5. Ratings. Rumple best alley right now are the studio execs who want to make a whole lot of money.

Yep, and your 4th point is especially interesting. There’ll be a way around it. Rumple will be back!
December 16, 2013 at 12:15 am #231039SlurpeezParticipantI think Rumple is about as dead as the BF was. As in. Not really.
Having said that, his sacrifice for his son, Belle and everyone was simultaneously really heartwarming, poignant and heartbreaking.

So is he in the Red room in the meantime?

Hmm… Good question. He’s either back in EF or maybe in some sort of shadoverse I don’t know. Although if Rumple comes back what happens to Pan. Although a part of me hopes they bring him back only because then he could be a servant of Chernabog like in my secret headcannon.
December 16, 2013 at 12:41 am #231067onceabelieverParticipantFor the longest time, since the seer said the boy will be your undoing, I NEVER, NEVER thought it was Henry, I always thought it was pan, yes, pan turned out to be his father, but he was a boy, up until he was stabbed by the dark ones dagger…
now rumple is beloved, and I doubt A and E would risk the show… Usually they have some sort of promo, “a beloved character… Or someone in the main cast…WILL DIE” nothing this week, so I doubt he is gone forever….
