I was trying so hard to think about how many episodes are between now and then. Cause chances are that this will be the first episode back from a hiatus. So, we’re talking mid-late April.

How are you guys so sure that this is a new scene (one not from Skin Deep) and that “Lacy” is a Rumbelle episode?
This is definitely not a pic from last season. Rumple never wore that outfit in “Skin Deep” and Belle’s hair is different.

Consensus seems to be that it’s not from Skin Deep. Belle’s hair looks very different. We won’t know for sure until spoilers from the episode start rolling in, but I think it’s a safe bet that this a Rumbelle episode. *my heart is full of joy over this*

Remember, Belle’s hair and make up looked different in Broken as opposed to how it looked in A Land Without Magic. And her hair and make up was also different in The Outsider as opposed to how it looked in Dreamy. It’s just the make up department making improvements.

Was gonna go back to check if that’s what he was wearing in Skin Deep but hadn’t got around to it. If he’d been dressed the same as when he took her away, then I’d have guessed this scene may just be seeing her arrive at his castle for the first time. Wherever this scene fits, it’s probably not long after she arrives there, because I can’t see her staying in that ballgown all day every day when she’s got the blue dress to change into. But he’s not gonna be spinning her around the dancefloor on the day she moves in. The only way I can really see this fitting if they’re gonna do the dance scene, is if she hauls the ballgown out of storage and puts it on again after she’s got to know him a bit.

The reason Belle’s hair is different in the 2nd season as opposed to the 1st is because last season she was wearing a wig. Now she has extensions put in her real hair. That’s why her hair is significantly darker in Broken than in Land Without Magic. And all those examples are examples of differences between episodes, not within the same episode. Her hair in that picture looks different than how she wore her hair in “Skin Deep” when she was in the gold dress. That indicates to me that it is a flashback to the same period as “Skin Deep” but not a picture taken last year for the same reason she looks different in “Dreamy” than in “The Outsider.” I don’t think she is wearing a wig in the new pic. Plus- Robert Carlyle was totally being a tease with that tweet!

Exactly, Robert Carlyle is not so cruel that he would get us all worked up over nothing. (Just cruel enough to make us wait till April to find out, 😆 . But I’m sure he meant well) His pictures are usually a little hint of what he is filming and it seems he wanted to give us a heads-up… because he knows we are pining for Rumbelle
