I think Tamara somehow was from her parents and raised by her grandmother. Something bad happened to them. I mean, why was Marain close to death anyhow? Why could only fairy magic save her unless it was some sort of dark magic that made her ill? I think Tamara hates dark magic because of what it might have done to her parents.
Interesting. Does that mean her ultimate goal is to take down Regina and Rumple?

I have a hard time imagining an old woman in Sherwood forest, but then again maybe next time I watch this episode I will look closer at who is driving the cart. Not to mention that her having only the picture of her grandmother makes me think that if Robin Hood and Maid Marian were here parents that they didn’t make it over here with her. And if Rumple is going through all the trouble of making the curse then there probably aren’t a lot of ways to get over here to the land without magic.

Who says that is really her grandmother? Who says it wasn’t a ploy by Tamara to get what she wanted? That woman lies lies lies lies lies.

Hmmmmm. Maybe.

Well, she was very protective of that photograph to the point she retrieved it after killing the Dragon, so I assume the woman with Tamara has to be someone special to her.

I believe Adam and Eddy have confirmed that Regina could have left SB at any point, since she wasn’t cursed. She always had her true identity, so leaving wouldn’t have any ill effect on her. It’s possible Mr. Gold procured Henry simply by telling Regina about him and then she left for Arizona to retrieve baby Henry.
I could be wrong, but I think they’ve said this in regards to post-curse Storybrooke. Furthermore, we saw Regina touching the barrier surrounding the town during its curse days in “Welcome to Storybrooke”.

I agree with Slurpeez on this point. They have said that Regina could have left and in fact they’ve hinted that maybe she did leave.

So I don’t think Regina tried to leave in case she would loose part of her magic before and after the curse. But the MadHatter could leave after all Regina had his daughter.
April 22, 2013 at 2:46 am #187656onceuponadivaParticipantIf she somehow ended here and was raised by a woman who “adopted” her as a grand-daughter.. both fact and theory would have no trouble playing nice together.
I so say it’s Tamara! It makes so much sense.. and they purposefully had both actors for Robin Hood and M have darker features and such, therefore leaving no plot hole in the whole “well how can they all be different races” etc.

Regina didn’t have any magic before the curse was broken because there was no magic. It was only after the curse broke and Mr. Gold brought magic to SB that Regina could use magic again.
