Kudos to those of you who have been speculating for a week or so that Tamara would be their kid, even before we knew that Marian was gonna be pregnant. Looks like a distinct possibility now!

You could see how those words sliced right through to his heart the instant she said them. Perfection! He suddenly had an understanding of Robin doing something drastic in an effort to help his child, and he chose to do the right thing and spare him.
[adrotate group="5"]Since both threads were pretty much the same topic, I have taken the liberty of merging them. As for my thoughts, I don’t necessarily think that Tamara is Robin’s daughter. I would still rather Tamara be an honest to God character who completed originated in our world and has no former ties to FTL.
Since the events happened a few years before the curse. The child would have been born into FTL. Tamara is definently from our world. I just don’t think it’s possible that Tamara is their daughter.
That does not mean that the child is not important in some other way.

Unless Robin and Marian got out of FTL before the Curse hit. That is not outside the realm of possibility. We’ve seen that there are many ways to leave FTL. They do have wand.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"I still think Tamara is not related to FTL at all- that she is a real, honest to goodness outsider. I think that is a more interesting story to tell.
I think it is very telling that Rumple said something about people who steal magic usually have no good motive for doing so. Tamara is someone who wants to steal magic. Robin Hood stole magic to heal Marian. That is a really close parallel, maybe just intended to let us know (in case we didn’t already) that Tamara is evil. This being OUAT, we are sure to get a backstory for her that will make her more sympathetic, but until then, I will go with evil. However, RH did have a worthy motive for stealing the wand. Not evil. Casting brilliance – Marian as an African-American, which only makes us speculate all the more that she has a connection to Tamara.
Ok I’m gonna make some different parallels here. First of all I DO think that she is Robin & Marian’s. It’s obvious really.
But I’m gonna lay a parallel to Emma or rather, her story. What if Tamara’s is the same? She got send here as a baby without her parents to have a chance at life. Look at how close Emma got to becoming some kinda little thug, she was stealing cars, shoplifting… it could have easily gone the other way, and she would have been no different than Tamara, looking out for number one.
Robin and Marian are being chased by someone else already, someone evil. Marian was poisoned. Robin has a magic bow. Now Rumple is not gonna hurt them anymore. Belle made sure of that, and I have fate in her. So who is after them? Who is out to hurt them, and make sure Tamara will never get born? Which he/she fails at… but maybe not her parents.And I don't think they'll end up in Storybrooke seeing Lana just introduced herself to Tom on twitter, so thar makes me think they don't have any scenes in common (and which also means that the evil queen is not after them in FTL)
So question is, who is the big bad that’s after Robin & Marian? The Sheriff obviously was to big of a loser.. Malificent? I think I saw a dragon in a promo. And it would tie up the first bit of the season with the ending, with a chance to reintroduce Aurora and Mulan….
Cloaked hooded figure., now where have we seen that before… maybe Robin is now the wraith?theories, theories.. shoot them down as you see fit… or not
Ok. I have been trying to figure out what has been bothering me about this theory. I think it is the timing. K&H have insisted that Tamara is from our world. This story happened years before the curse so it is logical to believe that the baby was born in FTL. So even if they were able to escape the curse, the baby is from FTL and couldn’t be Tamara

For real! Either they’re trying to indicate something specific with that casting, or they’re just trying to mess with our heads. They didn’t just randomly make that departure from the traditional depiction of Marian though.

That would be really interesting if they go that route, sort of making Emma and Tamara different sides of the same coin. Adds a little extra something to the dynamic of Neal being stuck between them, too. These two thieving women he’s been involved with, who both started out their lives in the same way, in the same land he came from.

I do hope we get to find out how Marian got so sick. Would be a bit disappointing if she just innocently caught the plague. Someone trying to prevent her from giving birth for some reason would be much more fun.
