If Tamara was born here, then she could be considered “from our world” and an American. I just think all the hints A and E have given about more connections that have yet to be revealed and the seemingly random appearance of Robin and a pregnant Marian should be given some pause.
And I agree that it’s not supposed to be easy to get to our world…and yet. It keeps happening.

This might help explain how Tamara knows about magic beans if her parents told her, as she grew up, about how they escaped. It might also explain why she wants magic so bad, she wants to be get back to the EF. She’s like the opposite of Emma.
Not to mention, I don’t like the idea of these two good characters producing such a diabolical offspring.
Ah, but evil isn’t born, Dearie. It’s made.

Ha! Yeah, I know- but I’m not fond of them *making* one either!

Marian looks quite light skinned to me- olive toned, but still light. Both Robin Hood and Marian appear way too light to produce a child as dark skinned as Tamara in my opinion. Not to mention, I don’t like the idea of these two good characters producing such a diabolical offspring.
Here are some pics of the actress who played her: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1682392/mediaindex
Can’t find much info on her really, but apparently her dad is from Belize, and her mum is British, (which is a pretty vague description, because Brits can look like anything). Her skin tone isn’t as dark as Sonequa’s, but I do think there’s a facial similarity. Even if that unborn baby isn’t Tamara, I still wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a family connection in there somewhere.April 23, 2013 at 5:58 pm #188121SlurpeezParticipant@Phee wrote:

I’ve even read about a case in which a woman gave birth to a pair of fraternal twins, where one baby was black and the other baby was white. http://abcnews.go.com/Health/twins-white-black-born-biracial-parents-stirs-issues/story?id=12984334

April 23, 2013 at 6:05 pm #188123RumplesGirlKeymasterYes, skin color can vary between mother and child. So I think we can get around that issue. I know it was a big one even I brought it up in the podcast on Sunday with Daniel, I saw what people were saying.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"April 23, 2013 at 6:19 pm #188127vilyaParticipantHaving watched the episode twice now something else jumped out at me. When Tamara says (I am paraphrasing) One person you can always count on to do your dirty work is a pirate. She says it with such conviction it almost sounds like she knows him (and it seems that when she went in the closet to get her stuff that she knew who and what she was looking at)or has dealt with pirates before. Sounds like she has more of a Neverland connection than an EF one.
April 23, 2013 at 6:24 pm #188130RumplesGirlKeymasterInteresting. Well, we know Hook was in both places, the EF and NL. So it’s possible that Marian has heard about Hook through other sources. Whether or not she is Robin and Marian’s daughter (which I still think she is) I think we can all agree that she didn’t just randomly come upon magic. Someone out there told her about it. Someone out there has explained to her about other worlds, fairy tales being true, and magic. Maybe that someone were her parents Robin and Marian or maybe it’s the head of some giant corporation who has past magic experience (they’ve hinted quite heavily at Oz this year so who knows, maybe Dorothy is Tamara’s boss).
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"April 23, 2013 at 7:16 pm #188142SlurpeezParticipantAre there other magic people outside of Storybrooke, like how we saw with The Dragon (Tzi Ma)?
Horowitz: That’s a “can’t say.”
http://www.tvguide.com/News/Once-Upon-Time-Lightning-Round7-Kitsis-Horowitz-Spoilers-1064265.aspxI think Adam’s “can’t say” is indeed confirmation that other people from FTL, or even other lands like Neverland, could be in our world.
