    Last seen as Tinker Bell in ABC’s Once Upon a Time, McIver has been cast as Olivia “Liv” Moore in The CW’s iZombie pilot, TVLine has learned.

    The show’s central character, Liv is a med student-turned-zombie who takes a job at the coroner’s office to satisfy her insatiable hunger for brains. With each brain she consumes, she inherits that corpse’s memories; in an attempt to silence the voices in her head, she works with authorities to solve homicide cases.

    McIver joins previously announced cast members David Anders (The Vampire Diaries), Malcolm Goodwin (Breakout Kings), Robert Buckley (One Tree Hill), Nora Dunn (Saturday Night Live) and Alexandra Krosney (Last Man Standing).

    In addition to directing the pilot, Rob Thomas (Veronica Mars) also co-wrote with Diane Ruggiero. Both will executive-produce, alongside Danielle Stokdyk and Dan Etheridge.

    I’d figured this show would bomb and was “meh” about it either way, but now I’m actually sorta hoping it does well for Rose’s sake.

    Both shows film in Vancity, so they could potentially pull double duty if need be. Rose maybe not so much since she’s the lead, but Anders might be able to.

    What makes you even think David’s character is going to outlive the tv-movie?  This show is a procedural.  Their bad guys are one-and-done type of deals from episode to episode.  I have never seen it said on any site that his character will be a regular should it go to series.

    I am sad.  I love Tinkerbelle!!!  Although the premise sounds kinda dumb…

    Hmm. This show sounds like a tv version of Warm Bodies. Hmm. I think I shall tune in. I’ve never been a big zombie fan as it is but ehh.

    Hmm. This show sounds like a tv version of Warm Bodies.

    Dunno what Warm Bodies is, but this show is based on the iZombie comic series.

    Here I was thinking that we were getting lucky this pilot season and only losing David (who I couldn’t complain about since I sorta hate Dr Whale). Oh well. I feel like this won’t get picked up anyway.

    I’m still waiting for an announcement about one of our regulars landing a role in something. Once that happens we will know who is the spoiler-which-shall-not-be-named.
