RumBelle earrings!

I saw many variations of chipped cup earrings on Etsy and was tempted to order them when it occurred to me that I might be able to make some myself. Here’s what I came up with:

I used Fimo air light clay- it is very lightweight and air dries- they sell it at craft stores like Jo Ann’s. I have some little plastic sculpting tools to make the shape. Then I painted them with a gloss to make them a little shiner. Then I used a little acrylic paint to make the design. The only thing that really took a little while was waiting for everything to dry! I had a handful of failed attempts because I didn’t wait long enough and the paint smudged.

The other hard part was the handles- they kept breaking off! It was especially tricky to get the ear hooks attached. I used jewelry pliers.
