Alright all you Rumbellers! What did you think of the Rumbelle scenes in Neverland? Why is Belle there? What can she do? Is she Rumple’s conscience?

Belle told Rumple that he’d conjured a vision of her. I think that Belle represents his moral center (i.e. his conscience).

All I know is, and I said this in chat, is that when Rumple gets angry and grabs Belle’s head and holds tight that it is very hot. I know it’s twisted and probably means I have issues, but all that passion. *shivers* No wonder Belle always chased the Dark One. 😛

I do wonder now Belle’s side of it. Is she truly just a manifestation of his thoughts, or is there some kind of psychic, telepathic, magical thing going on.

    *sighs* Oh my Rumbelle!

It was *magical* and wonderful. And…*ahem*…hot. Passion. They have such passion. OMG.

When their foreheads almost touched. Ye gods. I die, guys. Slowly.

I think he was thinking about her and subconciously brought her there. His heart knows what he needed:her guidance. I hope she comes back again. We might get to see some magic!

I think Belle will be back a lot to help Rumple. He struggles with all of this. But he did admit that he’s a coward, big step for him. He did the same thing in The Crocodile (one of my favs). I wonder if Belle knows what is happening back in SB. Belle did say that the protection spell went up fine, as if some part of Belle was really there.

She showed up when he was focused on the doll. Obviously he’s got a whole mess of emotions connected to that thing, and he had to let it out somehow, but had no one to talk to. So up popped Belle. I think she’s gonna be an influential and powerful force as the story progresses, because Rumple really is completely alone in NL, and he’s gonna be going to some bad places emotionally and Belle’s appearances will provide an outlet for his fears. The Dark One is like the devil on one shoulder, and Belle is like the angel on the other.

I loved it! I loved how she called him out on hiding what he was really thinking. LOVE this couple!

I am curious about Belle’s side as well. Is she conscious of the conversation in SB or was it really just all completely in Rumple’s mind.

Kind of disappointed there wasn’t a kiss (although would kissing an imaginary Belle break his curse now that he’s in NL?), but we got handholding and everything else so it was great!

And I was super proud of Rumple for trying (more than once) to get rid of the doll after talking to her.

Agreed. I expect her to just pop up beside him now when he’s conflicted and gently scold and help him. I LOVED her flirty quick witted banter with him.

YES. Even when she wasn’t around he still had the memory of their conversation.
