It DID feel more like a funeral than a wedding. And much as I ship Rumbelle, I was disappointed in the way the whole thing was handled. Beautiful? Yeah. But…the timing just felt a little off. The whole thing just felt a little off.

Then of course there’s the whole ‘lying about the dagger and killing Zelena’ thing – THAT may end up insurmoutable. It hurts not to trust him, and to know that he is manipulating Belle’s trust for his own ends, ‘toying with words as [he] toys with people.’

I liked the wedding; both of their vows were very beautiful. I did find it curious that Moe actually agreed to give Belle away, considering the last time they were together, father and daughter parted on bad terms.

Back to the vows. I loved, loved how each part of it applied to all of our super couples. That was perfect.

But again, as beautiful as the wedding was, it was tainted because of what Rumple did. And Adam and Eddie reminded us of that when they showed him locking away the dagger on his shop.

I love my rumbelle, I want them to be happy, live in bliss and have lots of babies together but they really shouldn’t start out their new life together with Runple covering up this big fat lie that just got bigger since he used magic on the jail security cameras.

the sad music was all the evidence that this Rumbelle wedding/funeral this relationship is a sad one.

Belle believed that this marriage will last, so when SHE talked we saw snowing. but Gold knew better. so they flashed to OQ and CS.

it will just be an illusion of happiness for him. and temporary. he knows what he is about to do (free his son from the past and erase himself from existence in the process) but he can’t tell Belle that.

he learned a short time ago that he has two choices as to how to live out the rest of this time: in screaming agony, or in a much more pleasant way. he opts for the more pleasant way even though it means lying to his beloved

Neal is dead. He’s not coming back. He’s gone forever unless you’re counting flashbacks. They are not going to kill Rumple off again, they are setting up drama for RumBelle next season when Belle will find out about Rumple’s lies and the fake dagger. Rumple isn’t going anywhere.

The screaming agony or a much more pleasant way line was said by Zelena about the time left before she cast the time travel spell.

You’re setting yourself up for disappointment Marty if you are expecting them to get rid of Rumple in favour of Neal. False hope is worse than no hope at all.

THEY may not get rid of Rumple in favor of Bae, but the character they created WOULD.

Rumple will never give up on his son’s chance at happiness. Not after he successfully opened a time portal

He will get together with Henry, and together they will work on operation bale-fire

Neal wouldn’t want his dad to sacrifice his life for his, especially when Belle has brought out the best in Rumple, which is all Bae ever wanted- his dad to be a good man again.

I could see Rumple trying to work on a way to bring Bae back, after all if one law of magic can be broken then theoretically the other two can be broken too. However, the price of such a thing wouldn’t be Rumple’s life but possibly Henry’s maybe (kind of the days Henry would’ve lived would belong to Bae, therefore the exchange would have to be from someone young so Bae would get the maximum day limit)

OR they could do it where the price exchange is Rumple’s immortality so Rumple would still live, and Bae would live, but Rumple would no longer be the dark one, he’d be mortal and could live out the rest of his natural life happy with Belle and his family.

This sounds nice, but I think Rumple believes a life needs to be exchanged.

It’s not a matter of Neal not wanting rumple to sacrifice his life for him. He already did. I think Rumple believes that his life is not his own. He believes that he is living a borrowed life, borrowed from his son, and he means to give it back.
