What are your theories about Rumpel not actually being dead? I’ve got one:
Rumpel was wearing the cuff when he stabbed Pan with the dagger. The cuff stops all magic within a person and the dagger works sort of like an Athame from charmed (its a dagger that can suck out magic). So here’s my theory. Rumpel wears the cuff,, stabs pan. The dagger sucks out all of pans magic, turns him old and kills him. Sure rump stabs himself but he doesn’t have magic because of the cuff so he doesn’t die like Zoso or any other dark one when stabbed with the dagger. Instead he gets a very serious wound like Charming did in S1. Pan using the last bit of magic he has left poofs them somewhere else. Maybe Oz. Maybe NL. Maybe the EF. Who knows >> but the point is, Rumpel could be alive… I totes lost my train of thoughts on this theory >_< anyway! Share!!!

But I think Rumple went someplace we’ve never seen before. Like the netherworld. Not the Red Room which seems to be more like a dreamscape but an actual limbo (without any sort of religious overtones). I think when the WWW sends them all back to SB, Rumple will get dragged along because of his connection to the town

I agree. I think the Red Room is apart of its own world actually. That there are more rooms with different purposes and such. Who knows who lives there or created it or what >> Seeing as the Witch was green because of an apple (in the disney version) and the grimmerie contains a spell on how to make a very dangerous apple (in the wicked novel series) I wonder if the witch created the apple in order to send her victims to a place of torment… But this isn’t the place for this theory 😛
Rumpel wasn’t there when Regina casted the new curse… So I wonder if that shall be important indeed…

Hmm. I think it means that Rumple wasn’t taken to the EF. Wherever he is, he is not where anyone else is (with the exception perhaps of Malcolm); but I also think that means he has his memories

If it was so easy to get rid of the curse Zoso would have killed himslef, but he couldn’t so Rumple is alive. I think the paradox and the act of love he did for sacrafiing him and give his dad a TL Kiss is what let him survive, but kill the DO curse. I think he is in the scroll. The next who cast the curse save Rumple, who is captured like in the Pandora Box.
I think with this sacrfice he also make clear which way you can break the next curse, with a loving father and a son. So my guess is on robi and Roland. They will get their memories back fast, but who is the villian and why did the curse was cast is now the Question.

I think he might be stuck in some fate (maybe like a Pandora's box or something where only Belle can rescue him. by giving him back his magic or something

maybe this is why they keep saying the word “hope” I bet Rumpel is their only hope at some point when everything seems bleak and wwow is winning, Rumpel shows up with Belle or something

Hmm. I never thought of him hiving his father TLK… That makes sense. Its almost poetic. Maybe the kiss would have saved him… Like how he was stabbed with the dagger in the BatB movie and Belle kissed him back… Hmmm…

For it to be TLK it has to be TL both ways. Malcolm said MANY TIMES during this episode that he never loved Rumple. Not once. At all.

For it to be TLK it has to be TL both ways. Malcolm said MANY TIMES during this episode that he never loved Rumple. Not once. At all.
That doesn’t mean Rumpel didn’t truly love his father even after all that has happened. I think TLK would work even if the other person doesn’t even like you. Because your love for that person is true >> I could be wrong though. Some people in the world would sacrifice their life for people who dont share the same feelings for them as they do. Thats still true love to me. Idk >_< I just like the theory of it 😛
