If Rumpel ever finds out that Belle is alive (which might be the greatest moment in TV history since sideways Sawyer and Juliet touched hands on Lost), there is just an endless amount of possibilities of what he will do. I could just picture him limping in a rage to Regina to beat her with his cane. Or mope with his chipped cup some more, drowning in guilt because he did not discover her sooner. How does everyone think he will react?

I’m actually nervous to see Mr. Gold’s reaction to discovering Belle. He nearly beat a man to death all because of a chipped cup. Imagine what he’ll do when he finds out about Belle. 😯 😯 😯 My main fear is that when he finally sees her, he’ll forget about the rules and kiss her. And as we all know, true loves kiss is the only thing that has the power to break Rumpel’s curse. Hopefully, he’ll keep a level head during the whole ordeal, but it’s hard to determine.
And I COMPLETELY agree with you. Rumpel and Belle’s reunion is going to be BEYOND EPIC!!! I haven’t cared about a fictional couple this much since…well, since…EVER! 😆

I can not wait! Good point about how Rumpel may forget about the curse. But maybe the kiss would not break the spell because he is not in beast form…

Good point. We still don’t know if Mr. Gold has access to magic in Storybrook. I’m assuming not. GOOD!!! I want to see him kiss her. Like really really REALLY BAD!!!
I’m hoping that Mr. Gold takes the information and just waits. I want him to really think about his next move before doing anything irrational.
Someone on the internet speculated that maybe the reason why Regina has Belle locked up is so that she can brainwash her and have her break Mr. Gold’s heart. This might work. After seeing how hurt Rumpel was when he thought Belle was working for the Evil Queen in the flashbacks, I wouldn’t put anything past him.
If we haven’t found out whether there’s magic in SB by the time Gold finds out about Belle, we surely will then! If he has any magic at all, I can imagine him calling it all down to free Belle–how thrilling that would be! And as for the kiss, we fans deserve it just as much as Belle does :D. So bring it on, and I’m confident that Rumple will find it was the best decision he’s made in centuries, because love is the most powerful magic.

Ooo! I agree! I think Rumpel will find a way to retrieve his magic in an effort to save Belle too.

I hope he makes some big plan to retrieve her and invlolve Emma. Another theory is that Regina has her locked up because she remembers. I bet they’re gonna find each other in season 2 or 3
Whoever has the dagger controls the Dark One. So it would only be good for Mr.Gold if he had it because then Regina wouldn’t have it. We don’t even know if Regina knows about the dagger, they haven’t explained enough about its powers yet. Magic might not even be possible in Storybrooke. I mean, he does look normal.
This potential moment has generated more fanfic than possibly any other in the OUaT world! My opinion is that Belle doesn’t remember any more than anyone else and Regina has her locked away to be used as a pawn against Mr Gold when she needs him distracted or vulnerable. I think that was her motive for having the cup stolen — to sound Gold out as to 1) forcing him to reveal that he remembers who he is and 2) measuring how much he still loves Belle. And she got her answer in spades on both questions. Can’t wait to see how it plays out. Sawyer & Juliet x 10!!!
