    I agree that it doesn’t make sense if he wants the Curse broken.
    That’s why I don’t think he wants to break it completely, only weaken it enough so he can leave.

    that makes a lot of sense. Weaken but not break so he can leave Storybrook but not go back to Fairytale world.
