Rumple's Magical Closet

I can’t believe we haven’t analyzed all the contents of Rumple’s hidden closet yet. Did anyone notice that the wands that Mr. Gold dreamed about in 2×19 are actually in his Dark Castle in FTL (or at least are very similar)? We know that Rumple has a bad habit of stealing wands from fairies (e.g. Cinderella’s fairy godmother). Who have we seen use one of Rumple’s stolen magic wand before? Robin Hood in 2×19! Where is RH now? That’s right the Dark Castle! IT”S ALL STARTING TO MAKE SENSE! My theory is that RH will somehow help Neal use the magic wand to get to Neverland.

Here are some close-ups Mr. Gold’s collection of wands in his dream in 2×19. In reality, however, Rumple has a collection of wands concealed in a cloaked closet in FTL!

It’s interesting that Rumple warns Robin Hood that the wand can do nasty things to him if mishandled. I wonder if the word “nasty” is a tip-off about what will happen in 3×4 “Nasty Habits” which is a Rumple backstory. Maybe we will see Rumple interacting with Cinderella’s fairy godmother more, whose wand Robin Hood actually used to heal Marian (screen shots show the wand RH steals in 2×19 is the same one from 1×4).

That rack of wands does seem to be identical, apart from the blue wand in the shop, which obviously isn’t in the castle.

It’d certainly make sense for Robin to be all, “I have some experience with fairy wands,” and somehow use that to help Neal get to NL.

Oh, new thought, I wonder if the blue wand was used somehow to send pregnant Marian to our world, and so Robin has some specific knowledge that could help with portal via wand?

Nice catch on Nasty Habits–Nasty Wands, and the rack of wands.

I do feel the wands will come into play but to what end I do not know. I feel there was backstory waiting to be explored as to why Rumple hates fairies so much even before he had the run-in with Blue after Bae was gone. “Son tell me you didn’t, what I am doesn’t mix well” or whatever he said.

Plus his description of the wands as pure evil, so interesting and counter to what we would think so I”m expecting some shady fairy is shady backstory.

I can’t make out any props that stand out other than the wand rack.

Yes I really wanna know about those wands in the closet. Maybe the wrinkle in 303 is that RH tries to get the wand to work and send Nealfire to Neverland but somehow it doesn’t work right

The only other thing that stood out to me were the symbols. They mean defense and possessions, so whatever they were written on was probably hiding the closet.

Nice job! I’d like to know what the first rune means. It’s not on the chart.

Now that I see it up close, it looks like that’s Thor’s hammer. He’s from Norse mythology and those are Norse runes on the hammer. I also read runes were put on weapons to give them more power.

Might be a nice little call to the super popular Marvel universe.
