I’m beginning to think that loosing the Dark One’s Curse does not mean loosing his powers but rather he’ll take those powers and use toward good, as he wanted/imagined he could do in Desperate Souls. He has to loose the “infection” as it were first.
Also, this will totally cause him to pass out and be near death and Belle will TLK him back to life. Because of reasons.
