Rumplestiltskin’s fate

If Belle saves Rumple a la Beauty and the Beast, someone is going to have to pick me up off the floor cause I’ll have died in a cascade of sadness.

However, I don’t think the writers will let Rumple die. He’s too….beloved. He needs redemption. Honest redemption. I think his road with Bae is going to be long (loooooooooong) but it’s a road that will be worth watching instead of going straight to murder.

If they do kill him off, it’ll literally be in the last episode. Of the series. Like, he’ll finally find a way to redeem himself (as much as one can redeem themselves from his evil) and then he’ll die. But he’ll die happy, and at peace.

No, the writers can’t kill them off either. If Rumple doesn’t live or gets his happy ending, there will be riots in the streets.

I would be sad, but okay with that ending. I’d feel like my heart had been stomped in if he regresses into the worst of his Dark One persona, though.
