You get used to the previous actors’ way of portraying the character and then the new actors doesn’t seem to fit. I personally wouldn’t be interested. I think its just a way for them to fill in a episode or make more money. I think that Sebastian has portrayed the Mad Hatter in such as way that only he can portray him, no one else can act the way he can.

That’d be like recasting Rumplestiltskin. It just wouldn’t fly. The reason for this could have a bearing on fan acceptance though. I think fans would like to have a Mad Hatter, even if he has to be portrayed by somebody else. I’d feel that way if it were Captain Hook. I can’t imagine anybody but Colin O’Donoghue taking his part, but I’d rather there be a Captain Hook, even if it meant somebody else had to pick up the torch and run with it.

LANA & ROBERT INTERVIEW
February 25, 2013 at 11:14 pm #175514nonnieParticipantWe thought “Manhattan” was Robert Carlyle’s best performance to date, but we might have to update that to “The Miller’s Daughter.” Lana Parrilla (Regina) also does a fantastic job. Heck, most of the main cast gets to show off some serious acting chops this week.

I need Once Upon a Time scoop, STAT! — Mallory
NATALIE: Let’s see if I can turn this into a fairy tale: Once upon a time, a noble and moral character made a drastic decision that would forever mar his or her future, something so dastardly and irreversible that you would think that this character was actually evil rather than pure of heart. Any guess as to who will make the biggest mistake of his or her life?source
Question: I’ve just finished watching the first season of Once Upon a Time and I love it, especially the relationship between Emma and August/Pinocchio. Do you know if he is coming back in Season 2? —Gaia
Ausiello: Yes, as previously reported, Eion Bailey will resurface later this season as August — as will Jamie Dornan as Sheriff Graham/The Huntsman! — but Emma will only reunite with one the fellas. “I don’t have scenes with Jamie, unfortunately,” Jennifer Morrison shares with us, “but I do have scenes with Eion.” Bonus Scoop: Though Matt Mitovich teased in the new Spoiler Alert! that there would be one death in this Sunday’s episode, technically there are two — one in each realm.http://www.tvline.com/2013/02/26/greys-anatomy-season-9-glee-quinntana-spoilers-ask-ausiello/
