Yeah that was what I was gonna say. It’s not an incredibly original tagline. As for Frozen itself on Once, I’ll keep the majority of my thoughts to myself (for now), but I didn’t expect them to do Frozen so soon. The way they talked about it in past interviews, they always made it seem like it was a distant dream for them to fulfill or something. So well played on the surprise element.

Maybe they wanted to bring the snowqueen no matter if the one from Frozen or the Andersen-version. They might have been careful with teasing Frozen, because they had to make sure they get the rights first.
Bringing in Frozen now is a grasp at ratings for the General Audience who haven’t been turning in at the numbers they did previously. Add in the people who are angry and threaten to leave, I think hastening Elsa’s appearance is a way to attempt to capitalize on its current success.
I am a bit surprised at Disney allowing Frozen to be getting the One treatment so quickly. But the first thing you learn in business school is strike while the iron is hot.

Frozen is so new, I’m honestly surprised they’re doing it. That character is clearly ELSA, not a different take on the Snow Queen. If they do Elsa, they have to have it in keeping with the movie, because it’s so recent that SHE is who people still have fresh in their minds and want to see more of. If they DON’T do Elsa, people will complain because she looks just like Elsa, so why isn’t she Elsa. With all the other characters they could introduce, the fact that THIS is who they’re going with, just smacks of trying to capitalise on the popularity of the movie in a bid at a ratings grab.
Seriously get a new tagline ABC.
I’m surprised too but at the same time, not. She’s so popular right now that of course they’d want to do it at the height of Frozen’s popularity

I think they lost a lot of fan base, such as my own dislike them killing off Neal, and their trying to boost ratings. If they don’t make Elsa perfect the show, I think, will tank.

I totally agree. I think it is a really big gamble. They might get a small number of new people to check out a live version of Elsa, but does anyone really think that they will stick around? I can barely keep up with everyone’s motivations and pasts….I can’t imagine trying to get into this show during the fourth season.
But it’s more than that. I think that they have really dropped the ball the last half of the third season. It used to be about learning about a small group of people and how they interconnect, how they relate to one another and change. Now it all feels gimmicky to me, and all the gimmicks are taking away from the core cast. I will bet Elsa is going to take a lot of screen time away from the core, and that is just going to make me not want to watch

I agree. With Elsa and Will from ONCEWL coming, someone is going to be loosing out in S4. My guess is less Belle (less than we already see mind you)
