Once Upon a Time SDCC 2016 Rundown of News/Spoilers/And More!
–Everyone was in attendance EXCEPT for Ginny Goodwin and Robert Carlyle
–Yvette Nicole Brown hosted the panel, per the past few years
–The panel began with a trailer showing the Evil Queen since S1 and all the bad she’s done
–Eddy and Adam were asked what hope means to them. Eddy said, “the definition of hope is that things will get better.” Adam agreed
—–There will likely be no consequences of Hook coming back from the dead; YNB gave Colin a little Hook action figure.
—-They showed a short clip from the DVD of Cruella and “Mordred” (played by Buffy alum James Marsters) in the Underworld
–Hot Topic releasing an exclusive line of OUAT clothing.
–YNB wanted to know how Regina will be different without the Evil Queen persona. Lana said that Regina will not be losing her sass but that the Evil Queen is “pure evil.”
–YNB wanted to know if Zeus can intervene in all matters and there wasn’t a real answer. Colin did joke that Zeus could have given Hook back his hand.
–Lana said that Emma and Regina have become best friends over the years
–We will get more about Hook’s past and his many secrets but that Emma is his one true love.
–Some of the cast revealed how they learned they have gotten the parts on the show and how they reacted. Hilariously, Lana answered the phone and said they had the wrong number when they asked for Regina
–There was a question about the Olympian Crystal and if it could really obliterate a person; Adam and Eddy said they don’t know if Hades was lying. Is there hope for Robin???
–Finally the first scene of the new season was shown and they announced that Aladdin was cast and Jafar has been recast as Oded Fehr as Jafar.

At first I thought it was damage control. But I just went to the ABC press site, and Sean is still listed as a series regular. I would have imagined that would have been removed by now…

I thought damage control too but they were so clear with Neal when he died. And I thought they were clear with Robin too but then there’s this weirdness.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"Im sorry, if they bring back Robin they have no excuse to bring back Neal and that 512 scene is easy to retcon with was a vision hades put on Emma head, that is why is impossible for them starting to bring more characters from the dead, bc then they have to explain why not to bring others, but i think is more bait to OQ fans, than anything else to make them not give up the show, even Sean said that he would not return to the show, bc he wants to do new stuff.
Also, Hook thing, almost bet he will be split in “good” hook and bad hook.
Also about Sean on ABC page, MRJ was as regular on the show on ABC page, until Season 4 started.

I’m still very skeptical as to Robin coming back for two reasons: 1. A&E have toyed with fan’s before in regards to things like this. 2. Sean seemed to indicate very clearly Robin was gone for good and that he wasn’t exactly happy about it. I suppose though that could have all been an act on Sean’s part, or A&E just hadn’t clued him in on the twist yet. I’m very, very, very cautiously optimistic.
