Also, where’s Neal? Emma and Regina are there so this is after Skull Rock. Wonder where he went off to. And Henry lol.
Not too sure about Neal, though I suspect he is trying to open the box.
Henry is on the ground next to Emma, on a cot. She motions to him at one point.

Also, I think that Emma will keep her promise to the Lost Boys. The BTS spoilers pics for 3×10 show a lost boy or two in SB.
Also, about Rumple and Regina, I think he may want Regina eventually to restore happy endings again by transporting everyone back to the EF.

Hook is there. He is restraining Felix. With his hook. *snort* Handy tool.

He does always seem to know what they’re up to so I think he may know they’re coming and trap them once they’re there but it won’t be the boys faults since they were only relaying what they knew.
Agreed. In tune with every grain of sand on the island and all that, so he’ll totally know that they’re coming.
I hope there’s a cool reveal about Felix coming because what is his deal?!
the Mills women were not monsters
Cora wasn’t exactly a picture of mental health and happiness. She was a very angry, arrogant girl.
I get what you’re saying and I do think there is a magical connection between Emma and Regina in that one is dark and one is light and that’s pretty powerful but I don’t think it is something Rumple wants to forestall for some end game. Afterall, he was perfectly fine with the Wraith taking her soul and having her effectively die.
Yeah, I think he was done with using Regina as soon as the Curse broke. He was only using her as a tool in so far as he needed her to cast the Curse, and be caretaker for the kid who would lead the Saviour to town. The only thing Rumple was concerned with was getting back to his son, and once he had that, he didn’t give a crap about anyone or anything else. He probably did know about Robin being Regina’s intended love, so he made sure they were kept apart in FTL, and perhaps it was even some Rumple-y clause in the Curse that made sure Robin stayed in FTL, so that there wasn’t any risk of Regina falling in love in SB. If she found Robin in SB, she may not feel the need to seek out a child, and she had to seek out the child. I doubt that Rumple really cares what happens to Regina now, at least not in a “using you as a tool to my own ends” way. As long as she’s good to his grandson, she can do whatever else, she’s free from Rumple’s control. If she’s destined for some larger purpose still, it’s not something that Rumple has had a conscious role in setting up IMO.

Here’s the rub, Rumple knows that the endgame is coming he said so much in the Pilot, referencing the “final battle” which to my mind means that he being the farsighted imp he is has already stacked the board to best advantage. The catch will come when the future he foresees plays out not quite the way he saw it.

Absolutely. And I think *everyone* has a part to play. But I don’t think Regina is the biggest player of them all. If anyone is, it’s Emma. She is True Love Incarnate, the Savior, and probably the most magical person in existence. Regina was close to drained after Moon, Emma was not.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"November 26, 2013 at 11:13 pm #226565storytellerParticipantEmma might be the product of true love, but who’s to say that it isn’t the darkness that’s holding Regina back from being the “so much more” her mother knows her to be and “doing so much” if she allowed herself as Rumple said. Just to clarify, I’m not saying Regina is the most important but she is more important than I think the audience has a tendency to believe. It’s difficult to verbalize it but I’ve got a fingerspitzengefühl about this.

Well now you’re painting the audience with one giant brush. I think the audience recognizes the importance of Regina, to say nothing of her very loud fanbase. I think Regina is capable of greatness if she lets go of her anger and rage and need for power/magic. But at the end of the day, she is not made up of the most powerful magic of all. So she can be a brilliant queen and sorceeress once she sorts out her personal demons, but she’ll never be the product of true love, the most powerful magic in any realm.

I hope we get some backstory on Felix soon. I need to know why he is so loyal but can’t hear the pipes.
