The way I understood it, in NL all you have to do is imagine that you have something and POOF you have it. So first, PP imagined that Rumple did NOT have Pandora’s box. You can see Robbie focusing on the box while Rumple is trying to wave his hand over it. Then PP imagined that he had the real Pandora’s box and he did. It was a bit of tricky magic, but that’s how I understood it.

And I’m gonna guess that the fake box Rumple was holding, ended up inside the real box with him, so there isn’t a fake box still lying around somewhere for people to pick up and get confused by.

Yes or PP just imagined that the fake box never existed at all. Powerful thing, that imagination.

I do think Rumple will lose his power, but not yet.

If HOPE is still inside the box, then does it “infect” Rumple and start to eat away at his Dark One’s power? Does it give him some GOOD magic?

aww come on… wasn’t it obvious? Rumpelstiltskin was the hope. didn’t you’all see Emma’s reaction when He got out? “He’s back,” she says, and Charming says “he can cure me” and “we can go home, a family” so the hope in that box was Gold
