Often, in real life, when a damaged woman begins to explore love, there is a transitional lover. One who helps a woman learn how to open her heart to love. This isn’t necessarily THE one, but rather, the guy who helps the woman be truly open her heart to receive love from a future true love. That’s who I think Robin is. Regina’s transitional lover
Regina’s true love should make her stronger, not weaker. Regina’s true love should make her joyful, not tearful. Regina’s true love should walk down the street with her, hand in hand, not cause her to lock herself away behind closed doors.
We have a long way to go, and I’m hoping we haven’t met Regina’s happily ever after guy yet.

I don’t want Marian killed off. I think she & Robin just need to drift apart. Maybe Robin isn’t really Marian’s true love. Maybe it’s Shreif Nottingham (if he’s still alive) becuase didn’t he say Robin stole the woman he loved? Maybe that’s part of Robin’s “dark” past. Nottingham only became a drunk & a sleeze because of his broken heart.

I kinda feel like the heart-sharing thing was unique to Snowing, because, well, they’re Snowing…? I don’t know; I hope they don’t do that again.

I’m wondering if they’ll have Robin try TLK on Marian and have it not work, but then maybe Roland will give her a kiss and that will work? Or maybe Roland will do it and Robin won’t have to try. Another question that comes with that for me is, has Roland known Marian long enough to really love her? Or is just knowing that she’s his mother enough?

I’m just not sure where they’re going…Personally, I really hope they don’t kill Marian at all; I quite like her. Maybe we’ll find out that Little John has always had a bit of a crush on Marian and those two will end up together, who knows? 😛

Maybe the “act of true love” will be Regina earnestly trying to save Marian out of her own love for Robin and not wanting to see him suffer seeing Marian suffer. That would be twisted.

Yeesh! I hope this doesn’t happen… the whole language of Robin ‘stealing’ a woman just feels a bit too creepy for my liking.

But look at the interactions between Marian and Robin in the EF in Lacey. It was clearly reciprocal love. Even if it’s not “true love” it’s still love.
