What puzzles me about ScarletBeauty is…just who the heck does this ship please? Because prior to then, the two had no clear chemistry whatsoever. Well aside from being characters who are both in the background the majority of the time this Season. This seems to be for shock value and angst for Rumbelle, more than anything. And as far as Will goes, those most familiar with him are the ones who actually watched Wonderland, who were led to believe that Will and Ana had their happy ending ruling together as White King and Queen.

They’re alienating their core audience. Rumbellers are largely Rumple fans and probably, if being completely honest, only staying with the show for Rumple. But they’re also faithful viewers. Scarlett Queen fans are people who sat through Wonderland to the end and probably also faithful to the mother show, even with all the crap going on.
This show relies too much on shock, plot twists and action. If I don’t care about the characters then why should I watch, no matter how shocking or action-packed the show is.

WHAT IS THIS
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 9, 2015 at 9:20 pm #298057JosephineParticipantIt is something I can’t say in family friendly forums. However, I did respond to that tweet when I rarely do that type of thing. I might have a bit of pent up rage.

The only way I see them possibly “redeeming” this is by having Will think Ana is dead, but she actually isn’t, so that they eventually still end up together.

I hear that, (my ex-husband moved on to someone else after we were separated but before we were officially divorced, so believe me, I HEAR THAT). I look at Belle’s case as unique though, because she doesn’t think there’s a way she’d ever be able to have any contact with Rumple ever again, so actually filing divorce proceedings isn’t really an option she has available to her (as far as she’s aware).
I may or may not have just brought up the finale to Wonderland again just to see if Will or Ana were wearing wedding rings at Alice’s wedding. The were not. So the got married after Alice.
Not a whole lot of time passed since the Cylice wedding, right? I could buy it that Ana wanted her wedding to Will to be perfect, so she took a bit of time to plan it, and then maybe on the eve of the ceremony, he vanished, and is now in SB. I could probably accept it if all the Curse un-doings and re-doings somehow yanked him out of WL and back to SB. It would be harder for me to believe that Ana hadn’t gotten the Rabbit to pop off and find him, but I guess if she thinks he ditched her the night before their wedding, maybe she wouldn’t WANT to find him. Just as long as Ana’s not dead, and Will’s looking for a way to get back to her, I’ll accept just about whatever convoluted way they make it happen.

(It feels VERY different from Robin’s waffling over his wife’s frozen body, at any rate.)
But at the same time, it’s so clear that Belle is NOT over Rumple. At best, Will is an attempt to fill the hole Rumple left in her life, and I believe she’s the same for him with the hole Ana left (however that went down).

Except according to that tweet I posted from Jane, somehow all of what is happening now takes places AFTER the epilogue of WL….which makes no sense unless they are actually going to retcon this thing to death

Sidenote, but I really don’t get how he managed to get back to town when Belle ordered him not to, while holding the dagger. He shouldn’t have been able to get near SB
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"March 10, 2015 at 10:47 am #298102KebParticipantIf I’m remembering right, she ordered him to leave. He said he wouldn’t be able to come back, she said, “I know.” She didn’t order him never to return, because she didn’t have to.
