Season 1 DVD Artwork & Date!

Ksitetv.com has artwork for the upcoming DVD and Blu-Ray releases of the first season of ABC’s Once Upon A Time, which is tentatively scheduled for an August 28 release.

The set will include all 22 episodes from the show’s first season. No word yet about special features but I’m hoping for:

Extended cut of Skin Deep
A costuming featurette
Bloopers
a behind the scenes featurette of Robert Carlyle transforming into Rumpelstiltskin. I want to see how he preps for that 😀

I’d love some episode commentaries with Kitsis and Horowitz, so they can point out cool stuff people might have missed and explain how they came up with certain ideas.

Awesome. I have never known a show to do extended cuts of episodes, but maybe deleted scenes.

Episode commentaries would be nice. If Ginny and Josh gave commentaries for ‘What Happened to Frederick’, especially about the lake scene.

I love commentaries, and basically want as many as possible. My wishlist includes:
Kitsis and Horowitz on the Pilot and/or Finale
Jane Espenson and Robert Carlyle on Skin Deep
Lana Parrilla on Stable Boy
And I definitely would not be against a Ginnifer and Josh commentary. I also love interviews with Lana and Robert, but I’m not sure if there’s an episode that would make sense for both of them (maybe The Thing You Love Most or Skin Deep.)

Heh, in addition to the above, I’d love to have a commentary that Jared Gilmore is on.

Also I’ve seen extended pilots a lot on DVDs so I don’t think an extended episode cut is out of the question.
