I figured I would make a thread giving airdate updates for the remainder of the Season.
Upcoming Schedule
Sunday, April 14th – The Price of Magic (Recap/Behind The Scenes Special)
Sunday, April 21st – Episode 219 – “Lacey”
Sunday, April 28th – Episode 220 – “The Evil Queen”
Sunday, May 5th – Episode 221 – “Second Star to the Right”

OK, if this is true then I think I’ll stop watching for now and will wait for it to first air in France and then wait for the DVD. Too much hiatus is too much. And not 3 but 4 and even 5 fre**ing weeks? Nope, I don’t want to and I won’t wait patiently, sorry ABC but you lost me there. I never saw so much breaks for a show that on that stupid channel. After all I can move with my life until I see it on French TV, I don’t know when it will happens or if it will happens this year at all, but fine. The good thing is that I won’t have to endure hiatus: I will have an episode each week
So for now I wait and see.
ETA: If I where them, I would release one episode per year 🙄

Sadly, they have to pad the Season out so it can end in May. It’s all about the sweeps months, with May being one of them. With only 22 episodes per Season and the Network Season is like 30 something weeks long, there’s literally no way to air the entire Season nonstop. It’s how US Networks work. Put is this way, would you rather have the Season end earlier with a longer wait for Season 3?

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"At least we have 4 straight weeks of new episodes, including last week’s “The Queen is Dead.” It’s nice having at least that many straight episodes, especially compared to how we only got “Tiny” and “Manhattan” inbetween the last 2 breaks. Though, it’s not as generous as the 7 straight weeks of new episodes we got back in the Fall.
Yeah we got spoiled in the fall. I really hope ABC decides not to do the second half of three the same way. It’s been brutal, all these breaks (I know season 1 was the same, but for some reason, this time around it feels worse.)

This way the actors can have their break, while we wait for the last few episodes, which means we won’t be waiting as long for the actors to resume filming for next season. So, though it’s kind of annoying right now, I don’t mind ABC spacing out the episodes over a few weeks more. Otherwise, the season would be done by April and we’d have to wait until Sept. for the next new episode.
