I don’t get why they would use the names at all. I mean that is sort of like a visible reminder of what Regina did to them. To her control over them. I see no reason, unless you are like Whale trying to keep your identity secret, why they would keep those names. That makes no sense to me.

I like the idea of Rumple having the Medallion, but it looks so much out of Harry Potter from the picture that I don’t really like the idea of a soul sucking creature. Plus, other than Harry Potter, I don’t really remember soul sucking creatures being a large part of fairy tales. On the other hand, horcruxes sort of are because a lot of fairy tale villains hide their soul in a place outside their bodies, and the hero with the maiden’s help finds the villain’s soul and crushes it to be able to completely destroy the villain. So I wouldn’t mind that being a part of OUaT and not Dementors.
I think the “Dementor” could be the evil foe that Mulan said marked Phillip in one of the sneak peeks. Jamie Chung said her character, Mulan, and Phillip were on the run from an “evil spirit” in their segments. Perhaps the evil spirit is commissioned by Maleficent to hold Princess Aurora captive while she slumbers.

the main thing that comes to mind is Grace. Jefferson was her father in FTL but there is, what appears to be, a lovely family that took care of her for 28 years. That counts for something. I’m sure she will be happy to see Jefferson but she spent almost 3 times as much time with her Storybrook family than with Jefferson.
Just because the curse is broken does not mean those 28 years did not happen.
I hope we get some good stuff with Grace having to deal with that. I know there’s been talk about Henry trying to convince Jefferson to get Grace back, so maybe he’ll need some convincing because he’ll be mindful of the fact that his daughter has had a different family for so long.
The episode opens in a new location, with a new character receiving a mysterious message.
A fresh fairy tale “character” makes “his” presence strongly felt in Storybrooke. Note the quotation marks.
Wonder if both of those might relate to MRJ’s character? I’d guess that the first one very likely does. The second could perhaps mean Hook though, I suppose.

I’m not a Potterphile, so the pic made me think of the Nazgul from LotR instead. The word “dementor” is certainly considered a Potterism though, so it’d probably be better if they’d called them something else, a wraith of some sort. Same sort of entity, but people wouldn’t automatically leap to the Potter connection, unless that’s what they’re going for.

I just would think that word would be copyrighted, but i am not sure. Dementors always reminded me of the Nazgul from Lord of the Rings too though i think the nazgul were more scary. Though Lord of the Rings has much better CGI then Harry Potter which is a real low point for that series.
