.How serious are Rumpelstiltskin’s father issues? “We’ve hinted in the past that his father is a coward and that his father’s name was something that haunted him and that his father left him,” Kitsis said. His partner-in-crime Horowitz added: “We see those issues have played themselves out in his relationship with his son [Baelfire]. Whatever happened to Rumpelstiltskin in his past is really creating the problems he’s getting today.” Episode four, “Nasty Habits,” will directly deal with Rumple’s backstory. “This is a man who wants to break the cycle of his past,” Kitsis said. “He wants to be a good father, but it’s like that quote, ‘I can resist anything but temptation.’ That’s also his weakness.”

.How does Regina cope with working with people she despises? Things aren’t going to be easy for the Evil Queen to deal with. Horowitz said that Regina getting stuck with Emma, Hook, Snow and Charming in Neverland isn’t easy for her to come to grips with, promising that the third episode will deal with the repercussions.
