–“Once Upon a Time in Wonderland” (ABC): Ratings have taken a steep plunge down the rabbit hole.
Maybe they should have concentrated on ONCE …. giving them better CGI instead of chasing after a rabbit.

1—As Entertainment Weekly’s Sandra Gonzalez points out, the kiss took a bit of cohersion2—Emma says it’s never happening again.
So sorry Hook/Emma shippers it seems this may not be a sign of things to come.
There is something to keep in mind here. The only reason this kiss may be happening (besides the fact Hook saved David’s life) is because Emma doesn’t know Neal is alive. I think things are going to get very bad for Hook in the Emma department when she realizes the man she loves is also on the island.
Before Neal gets back to Emma he’ll have to get out of his current situation with Pan.
Pan has proven to be much more devious than Neal’s father Rumple. We haven’t really seen Pan’s true power as of yet but we know he has some serious skills. While Pan seems to be a bad dude, executive producer Edward Kitsis reently said he has his reasons.
“For us, our characters are all looking for a happy ending. They’re all looking for love; it’s just what choices do you use to get them,” Kitsis explains to TVGuide.com. “Some people are OK playing hardball. Some people want to do it the right way. Peter Pan is an interesting story.”

WONDERLAND BEING REPLACED?
.
NONNIE … …October 24, 2013 at 8:38 pm #218539motormouth12ParticipantJust cause she said its one time thing doesn’t necessarily mean something won’t happen again. JMO has even admitted she knows she’s going to be in a triangle with MRJ and Colins characters. That she as a pull to both of them.
October 25, 2013 at 9:50 pm #218757AnonymousInactiveIt won’t be a one time thing. Mark my words. I think given the intent of their being in Neverland (find Henry), they may put the brakes on anything further happening with this other than looks between Hook and Emma, more bantering, etc (though I’m curious how Charming’s threat to hook to stay away will change things!). Both Colin and Jen keep reiterating the same thing in their interviews, that the group is so focused on finding Henry and also the silent issue of David’s poisoning, that there won’t be time for romance. It’s really not the time nor the place. I think they just had to make something happen before Neal is back in the picture, otherwise they wouldn’t be able to get their planned love triangle off the ground as easily.
And let’s be honest, while the kiss was pretty passionate and intense, something neither of them ‘could handle,’ it wasn’t really romantically driven like a Snow/Charming kiss. The writers just made Emma finally cave to Hook’s flirting and the best way to justify it was 1) a challenge and 2) gratitude. She has resisted him so many times that it was unlikely they could concoct much of a scenario where she would suddenly change her mind.
Emma and Hook have always sort of been competitive with each other and she has bested more than once. I think part of the reason it was so intense was just mutual pent up sexual frustration (ahem, it HAS been a long time for both..) and overwhelming emotions. Emma has dealt with so much stuff lately that she needed some sort of release. Her character is written to be very closed off emotionally and she has a hard time handling them. If some guy she’s spent the past season bantering back & forth with, who constantly comes onto her (his reputation and her knowledge of his past indiscretions aside) suddenly does a 180 and starts REALLY showing that he cares and appears totally genuine, and then saves her father’s life– sure, she’s more willing to let her guard down.
Both Colin and Jen have admitted this has been planned for a long time and since they know their characters the best, I trust what they’ve been saying in the interviews. I find a lot of love triangles so contrived and forced but part of me wants to give Hook the benefit of the doubt. I’ve never really thought of him as so much of a villain like Cora, Regina or Rumpel.. he’s just a dude who wants to survive by whatever means possible. And yeah for hundreds of years he was bitter and wanted revenge on Rumpel, regardless of what he had to do or who he had to hurt to achieve that. But I also think people can change and a lot of the themes in the last year on OUAT have been about redemption and trying to make viewers feel something more for the villains other than total disgust, at least through understanding their backstories.
So regardless if Emma is endgame with Neal or Hook, I personally just want all of the characters to get a happy ending of some sort. I’m partial to Hook BUT I also understand how extremely complicated it would be for something to work out between those two. There are so many issues and hurdles that would have be overcome and addressed and in the real world, a lot of adults may just find it too impossible to work out because of how it impacts others who are near and dear to them. I think it would be really sweet if Hook does change and becomes who he was was all along, Killian Jones, and falls in love with someone and stops needing to be a shady pirate to deal with his past suffering. Same with Neal. I’m thrilled that he’s stepped up to the father role and has been so great with Henry. Regardless of Neal’s relationship with Emma, I just want their child to be happy and feel loved, something that BOTH of those characters have struggled with in their own childhoods.
