Sign Up ..Follow: ABC, Video, Television, Once Upon a Time, Once Upon a Time Abc, Once Upon a Time Renewed, Once Upon a Time Renewed Season 3, Once Upon a Time Season 3, TV News .ABC’s “Once Upon a Time” has been renewed for a third season, the network announced today.
The sophomore series has fluctuated between ratings highs of 3.9 in the 18-49 demo and lows of 2.1, but “Once Upon A Time” was always considered a safe bet for renewal.
ABC is also working on a Wonderland-focused spinoff that would likely feature Barbara Hershey as Cora, The Queen of Hearts. The spinoff will reportedly focus on Alice (Sophie Lowe) “who has a generous heart but carries the scars of a long hard life.”
Star Ginnifer Goodwin tweeted her excitement when ABC announced the news:

This is only my own personal gut feeling on casting…
Emma, snow, charming, Henry, Regina, rumple, hook, and Neil will be regular cast
Red, belle will be once upon a time (pun intended)

I agree its nice to have confirmation even of the obvious 😀 I love this show!! Hope we get a lot of more seasons! NOW all I need is confirmation of season 3 NEW Regulars!! Michael Raymond James NEEDS to be a season regular, love Nealfire’s character, he is one of the characters I’m rooting for at the moment , he deserves a happy ending!
My hope for season 3 Main Cast/Characters:

Aurora, Phillip, Mulan & the Dragon!!!, Red Riding Hood & Granny, Robin Hood,The Dwarves & Tiny, ARIEL!! URSULA! , Peter Pan, Wendy, Tinkerbelle, the lost boys, ALADDIN & JASMINE.Apparently Raphael Sbarge just got cast in a show as well (TNT’s “Murder In the First”). Hope we can still get Archie/Jiminy when we need him in the future but happy for the actor. Same goes for all the other actors we already know have new shows coming out.
So excited we have season 3 and look forward to focusing on the core cast for a bit (that includes Hook & Neal) and can’t wait to see where they go with it!

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"Well I for one am not that sad that MAP is likely going to be tied up soon, though I am sad that Red has to go. I so liked the interactions between her and Snow, especially in FTL. I liked Tiny, but really didn’t see how he was going to tie into the story further, and though Archie will always have a place in my heart, I think that he has probably served his purpose too. Wish them all the best of luck.
Like so many others have said, I hope that they have learned their lesson about diverging from the core cast too much. Waiting 15 episodes, (or whatever it literally is) to find out why in the world we wasted, I meant spent time, with MAP is too much.
