Ooo I love that idea! The magic mirror would be perfect and a nice callback to Beauty & The Beast. We’ve seen the majority of their story up to this point play out on screen so the magic mirror is the next step! (They’ve already disposed of Gaston so something else like…the Dark One side will just have to suffice as the enemy and then they can eventually undo that curse and finally find happiness while dealing with everybody else’s problems for once!)
YAY for Emilie’s tweet! Can’t wait to see everything official and all spelled out for us so that everybody can calm down about their characters but we’re 1 step closer for sure!
As for the rest of the wishlist…man, such a long list and so many things have been mentioned already! Here are the things I think we’ll definitely see some aspect to at the very least:
* More Hook backstory – his father, time after Bae left but before Hook got out of NL, and I want some Killian stuff, he was Killian Jones before Captain Hook! Being in Neverland where he probably knows it the best should help us fill in some of these gaps, possibly from his arrival in Neverland the first time and how he learned whatever he learned that is useful now
* Hook & Emma interaction – these two get each other and regardless of whether it ends up romantic or not, they need each other and they will probably end up close no matter what because at this point nobody truly understands either all that well, especially Hook – he needs (at least) a friend, and for the beginning of S3 that’s a good thing to see blossom. Helps his redemption storyline too.
* Lots of good stuff in Neverland – been waiting to explore it for what seems like forever so I want to see more than just the water and the ship (as much as I love the ship)
* RumBelle moments – LOVE the mirror idea!
* Interaction – we’ve got a lot of people who don’t like each other, have things in their history that need to be explored and sending them all off to a different world together will hopefully bring some of that to light and force them to talk
* Neal – obviously he’s alive and needs to find a way back to everyone else so that he can be with Rumple and Henry as those are his main storylines *ignoring shipping wars here, just listing what MUST happen/what we’re likely to learn, not speculating on shipping*
* Emma’s magic – she needs to learn to control it and what it’s capable of; no more of this last minute “oh right I have magic don’t I?” stuff in the future. She’s in a new world and it could come in handy.
* MAP – Phillip’s alive! So how did they defeat the wraith and get his soul back? I want to have an idea of how this happened.
* Maleficent – still need her backstory with Aurora’s mother and then Aurora & Phillip, as well as her frenemy status with Regina. When did they exchange the curses? Why? How did they become friends? Why does Regina have Maleficent guarding everything for her, even in death?
* Snowing – more of them being parents, and less patronizing of Emma from Snow especially. The family is all together now and on a quest to rescue Henry. Work together and be strong, don’t treat Emma like a child while she’s off trying to find HER child.A couple of things that I’d just like to see:
* Pixie Dust
* SwanFire actually addressing their issues instead of sweeping them under the rug so that they can make progress on getting along at least for Henry’s sake, if not actually renewing their relationship (as long as it’s realistic given who they are today and what they’ve been through; I just don’t want it all ignored & Emma reverting back to who she was rather than embracing the person she is today)
* CaptainSwan interaction, starting as friends and blossoming into more
* Emma at least being truly torn between Hook & Neal rather than just ditching Hook for Neal when he comes back (for someone who has been abandoned and knows that Hook has been as well I don’t see her being cruel but I could see her backing off and not wanting to think about any of it for awhile while goodness knows what else is happening and Hook being understanding while Neal will probably whine a bit – I swear he & Henry are more alike every day and I love both of these guys as children! I do!) *refers back to SF actually talking stuff out wishlist item, especially since up until the last minute Neal was still defending / in love with (he was truly shaken and upset with her confession and wanted to know how much of it was a lie/had an extreme reaction to it) / gonna marry Tamara til she shot him*
* More HAPPY RumBelle moments, they’ve been through so much already
* Anton & the dwarfs all together now that Sneezy is back
* Granny with her crossbow
* Home Office stuff – we’ve gotta find out sometime soon right? (I hope this doesn’t drag out forever…though I like the idea of our 3 semi-reformed villains making peace long enough to fight something that requires all of them (it was nice to see Emma & Regina work together to save SB!)
* Mermaids! There have been tons of mentions about them, especially very recently with the Neverland stuff so we are in definite need of mermaidsI’m sure I’ll think of lots more the closer we get and the more rewatches that happen cause there are a lot of threads still dangling from earlier stuff but these are the things off the top of my head right now

I’ve decided that the first thing on my wishlist, my first real true item, is for this show to return on Sunday and not make me wait until September.
I’ll also take Rumbelle reunion (and never being apart again–but you all knew that),
Mermaids (one with flaming red hair, if you please),
Hook and Emma becoming best buddies,
Neal reunited with son, papa and Emma,
Snow and Regina having an honest conversation about everything that’s happened between them,
Lots of Peter Pan (I know many disagree but I still he might not turn out to be a good guy),

I seriously doubt itll happen, but thats what wishlists are for right?
Oh you know what else I’d like to see? More childhood stories! I want to see a child Regina, Emma, or Belle, etc
I do think we’ll see a childhood Regina story. I think they want to bring back Young Cora, so I bet we’ll get a young Regina.

I’d love to see whether Moe can find a way to reunite with Belle. For a show that’s so focused on family, and for a girl who truly loved her family and sacrificed her freedom to save them, it seems kind of tragic for there to be an eternal rift between the two. Since she’s stuck in SB for at least a little while, they have the opportunity to explore that relationship and maybe look at what their lives were like before Rumple–or what Maurice did after Belle left his castle. I’ve also wondered if Belle ever attempted to escape from Regina and what lengths Regina had to go to in order to keep Rumple from figuring out she was still alive in a land where just saying his name seems to summon him. I mean, she could mumble his name in her sleep and he’d pop up and…yeah. But they wouldn’t touch on that unless it were immediately relevant (but Hook did manage to learn where she was and break through Regina’s defenses, and at least some of the guards had to know–Claude did anyway–about Belle–so that could be excuse to explore that time in her life).
Emma as a kid would be fascinating. I wouldn’t be shocked to see more of August as a kid at some point, either. I mean, as a kid in the past, not now.
They might move away from quite so many backstories next season though, to balance out the various worlds better. I think I’d be sad if they did that completely, but it worked for one or two eps this season to just focus on present time in different places.

We have yet to see Rumple hold Regina as a baby, we have yet to see Cora learn about the dagger, and we have yet to see the feud between them that caused Rumple to tell Regina that he “won” in the end. I think there is at least one episode there. Maybe two.
Re: Moe. Now that Belle is in SB for awhile, I do think they will have him make amends. It would be fitting for him to understand that she loved Rumple and nothing is going to change that. I’d like to see him support her like Maurice does in The Beauty and the Beast.

I want to see some of the first three years of her life when she did have a family, and then some of the foster situation which as we are led to believe was really hard on her.

I really want to see that as well. So many theories about how the Dark One came to be! Sadly, I think that’s a final season kind of story since it would be huge. But maybe we will get hints of it in each season.

I’d love to see Emma’s reaction. And her interacting with Rumple.I wonder if he does change back, will he act like he used to? All impish? Or will he still act like Gold?
